We stayed in the Masthead. Bright and airy great outdoor balcony with lounge and dining where we spent most of our time. The apartment had its own wifi connected to nbn this time which worked much better than the previous set up. Only suggestion would be a guide to using equipment and local restaurants etc.

We rented out 8 apartments for my daughters wedding, We were all able to stay at one place, which allowed the whole family to catch up.

Apartments were newly renovated & clean. There is no where else for families to stay in Palm Beach.

We met the morning after the wedding for a big breakfast at the cafe at the front of Iluka with the newly married couple.

Close to Pittwater & reception

Myself and 6 girlfriends stayed in the Snapperman's apartment at Iluka apartments last weekend to get away from the city. The location is perfect, a nice walk from Palm Beach itself and with little cafes and corner store on its doorstep.

The apartment itself was very clean, quaint and spacious with a good size balcony. It was extremely clean with all the little odds and ends available that you might forget to bring.

Karen (main point of contact) was very helpful and at hand when we had any questions.

I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to escape from the city for a weekend getaway.

Made a booking for the Masthead apartment but our booking was changed to the Lookout and we were informed at the change that in her opinion the Lookout was the better room. It was not! There was so many disappointments, spa didn’t work, loose tiles, the light in the bedroom glowed like a night light even in the off position, be prepared to wake with sun, as the skylight over the bed has a cheap and nasty blind that doesn’t block the light, balcony has no protection from the elements and was hot as hell and the outdoor furniture was a disgrace and the so called view was blocked by the balcony wall, the bedhead was not attached to the bed, so had to shove a pillow behind it, so it wouldn’t bang the wall every time you turned over. Considered leaving early it was that bad only stayed because our next stop accommodation was not ready. The manager should be ashamed of themselves for changing out to this one and not offering a discount, as it was certainly not worth the money we paid! I would sleep in my car before staying here again

By way of definition, ‘Palmy’ as known to the locals are relaxed, family friendly and lead a wealthy and affluent lifestyle.

The location is second to none. The beaches and sea views abundant, and on clear day, your view opens up towards Pittwater and Mackerel Bay. Don't just take my word for it, you can even spot dolphins on a blue skies day. Pick up sea shells, white sandy beach and an idyllic fishing location right on the jetty. These are well positioned within 5kms of Iluka Road apartments.

Apartment #7 and then #3, clean and tidy, basic essentials are included. The pool, bbq, wifi, parking were at additional cost. An upgrade of facilities is coming up before summertime.

By far, Iluka Rd Apartments are centrally located right at heart of Pittwater, Palm Beach, NSW.

Apartment didn't have a view, but nice layout. Bath tap broken, milk capsules were old, more like yoghurt. Spa next to pool doesn't really heat up. Good location to get around easy on foot.
Expect things to be working for the price.

Unit 11. Great little unit for 2 with everything you need. Clean inside but unloved outside. Balcony furniture was dusty and covered in webs. Established tangly webs with dead flies - on chairs, table, railing, patio doors, eaves, guttering. Hardly inviting! Dead spiders on patio floor, daddy long legs on ceiling and a big spider strolling into the bedroom. Started our holiday by brushing everything we could reach. Neither outside light worked. Lazy maintenance.
Beware, the bed is on wheels. It moves when you do!
Easy stroll to beach, bus at door.

Just stayed here for 3 nights with my family over what was one of Sydney's hottest spells of weather. In all the accommodation was very well equipped, secure and very well positioned for our family holiday.

My only complaint was that the air-conditioning in the apartment we stayed did not work and really there was nobody interested in fixing it.

This unfortunately did effect the enjoyment of our stay and therefore I would be reluctant to return.

I was horrified to hear that you had no air conditioning during your stays at Iluka resort apartments. Unfortunately the apartment that you were in was not managed by us but an outside agent which is sometime the case in these building setups. If you would ever like to come back and stay with us please call Beach Stays and we will ensure you get an outstanding room and a discount. Once again we are sorry you had an unpleasent experiance and would love to see you back.

Be very careful about what you book. Our 2 bed apartment was one bed and two singles in an alcove off the coridor. Carefully worded as a 2 bed 'alcove' apartment. Don't be fooled by the floor plans they put on their web site.
What they list is what you get don't presume anything... No oven (well it wasn't mentioned) Self catering of you like to microwave.
The complex is set between two roads. A shot walk to the beach

My partner and I stayed two nights here in May this year. Clearly the owners of this place aren't short of business judging by the rates they charge for this place, its astronomically overpriced, befitting of a 4-5 star luxury hotel or boutique accommodation, that a run down apartment. To begin with, they didn't have a record of our reservation but kindly offered to put us in a larger room than we had booked. I can't imagine how small the bed in the original room must have been, because in the 1 bed apartment we got, (nice outlook overlooking the street) the bed certainly was not a queen as advertised. I notice we're not the first to complain about the bed size and clearly the owners don't care either, because the advertising literature and website still claim they have queen beds in all the rooms. They are only doubles and small ones at that. To really compound this, we discovered that the bedroom had no curtains on the windows, except for the transparent netting hanging from the curtain rail. Fortunately we managed to hang the blanket provided, from the "curtain" rail to try and block out the light. Once we had all this sorted and climbed into the (micro) bed for the night, we discovered to our delight that the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't turn off and runs continuously, providing an annoying dull hum 24/7. We should have complained at this stage, however it was a Birthday weekend and we decided to let things slide and just enjoy ourselves. However, the final straw in persuading me to write this review was when, the following evening, we decided to watch a dvd we'd brought with us, only to discover that there was no dvd remote control, so we were unable to operate and select options on the dvd player and watch what we wanted! To top it all off, the place isn't particularly clean. The shower was good though. Talk about paying a premium for location. Although, the ocean beaches are still about a 20-30 minute walk away. Very overpriced.

Yes, there are ground floor rooms and a lift for upper rooms. I think access would be difficult in the room I was in for a wheelchair but should be fine with walking frame. Contact the owners, they will be able to give you more information. They are extremely helpful and welcoming! I'm going back in a couple of years and can't wait!

Hi the accommodation is close to snappermans beach which is on the pittwater side of Palm Beach. its clearer to see it on google maps. The apartments are individually owned so are all styled differently but are roughly the same size, they also have a different aspect as most the one bedroom units face west. I hope this helps please feel free to ring if you have any more questions.0299742108
