The hotel was a bit disappointing for the price we have paid. It was outdated and in need of a renovation. When we arrived, our room was not ready, and there were two kids making our beds when we walked in. They were cute and polite though. The food was disappointing too especially the breakfast. I didn't stay at this hotel, but I did visit to use their onsen. The view from the rotenburo (open air onsen) of the Mt Mihara summit was fantastic at sunset. There is an inside onsen, but naturally you won't be able to take in the view.

We decided to visit Oshima Island after visiting Ito/Atami. We arrived by jetfoil from Atami and continued onwards to Tokyo by jetfoil afterwards, which worked out well.
