We spent 3 nights in this hostel. The view from the terrace is amazing. During the day you can watch the sufers and the best sunset in santa catalina. The rooms are basic which isnt a problem at all. You can reach playa estero within a five minute walk. Sandra and Iguanito and their son are lovely hosts. They helped...

Nice hostel with great views. The staff is really nice and the rooms are good. View of the surf break and a lot of hammocks to relax in. It is a bit of a walk to the main street so bring a light if you go at night.

Surfer's paradise is a great simple hostel. The view is outstanding, the restaurant is great and the family is lovely. Rooms are basic but lovely. Don't expect luxury and it will exceed expectations. The kitchen is extremely basic without much crockery and cutlery although you are welcome to ask the staff to borrow some of their tools. I absolutely loved...

Well, I should have gotten into surfing when I stayed there. The place is a little remote from the village but hey, that’s where the surfer’s beach head is… You get a magnificent view of the sea and a breakfast after waking up with the sound of the waves in your ears. What more could you wish for? Better toilets...

Surfer's paradise was a very relaxing place with an amazing view. The owner is very friendly and his wife is an amazing cook (try her omelet!!). Rooms are very basic, but okay. It's a small walk to the beach, which is a bit difficult with a surfboard. However it's worth the effort!

First the price $15 for a dorm with a broken shower and no lock in the toilets. then kitchen so tiny with only a pan for about 30 people. and last when I talk to the owner's son he told me that what you pay is the view otherwise it would cost the triple, for the rest that the way...

I'm a traveler and I have stayed in a lot of hostels. I just stayed a week at Surfer's Paradise and I can say for certain that I will never return. Let me start by saying, our shower didn't work so we were told to share with the neighboring room. The problem with that is it was not possible as...

The title says it all. Once I arrived and saw all the surfboards being loaded on the roof of the minibus I wondered what I was doing here as a non-surfer (without any amibitions to learn how to do it)... However, when I randomly walked into Surfer's Paradise I didn't want to leave. This place has a prime location, nowhere...

Surfer's Paradise is exactly that! Very laid back, great view! You can rent boards and/or get lessons from local surfers. You need to be aware that power does go out sometimes. This is a small village out in the country.

Owners are really friendly. They helped us find a boat captain, transport to Sona and a room in Panama city. We where tent camping. They have an unfinished building in the back with two open rooms and you can pitch your tent Inside them. You can also camp in the grass, but there is very few flat spots. Internet was...
