Excellent eco-lodge in indigenous wooded grounds with many birds. Fabulous views from self catering appartments. Good guiding - yellow eyed penguins, sealions and fur seals, temperate rain forest, hill farms, lakes and seashore. Lovely food.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Mohua Park for our belated honeymoon. The area was quite secluded and very peaceful, exactly what we wanted. The cottage was immaculate and fit our every need. The views around the property and from the cottage itself were breathtaking. It was such a great experience to watch the sunrise each morning...

Wonderful stay, only there for 1 night, but wish it was more. Owners were lovely and willing to assist with anything needed. Was nice to feel completely in nature, with no one around. Will recommend to anyone travelling around south island.

What a perfect place to stay. Gill and Lyndon (the owners) are really friendly and knowledgeable. Helpful whenever we needed it. The lodge was simply gorgeous with fantastic views and totally private. We stayed for 2 nights as we were driving through. We are returning in 18 months time and will book here again. So much to see and do...

We stayed here for only 1 night, which is a shame because this place is really beautiful and there's lots of things to see here. Lyndon, one of the hosts, can tell you all about it. Lovely lodge with a fantastic view (and WiFi which comes in handy!) Gill made a great breakfast. They are very friendly people! Definitely recommend.

This property is set about 7km from the main road - a beautiful setting up in the bush and the motel units overlook farmlands which are stocked in cattle and sheep. The owners are excellent and hospitality excellent too! Lovely bush walk which we very much enjoyed. Very peaceful quiet setting.

A wonderful place away from the city and in touch with nature. The hosts have made a beautiful place to wander through the bush and they have alot of knowledge to share. The cabins are very well set up and sitting on the deck looking out across the country side is very peaceful. You can cater for yourself or eat...

A little tricky to find as the green sign is well away from the road and surrounded by greenery. However don't give up this motel has everything you need and more. This is in a beautiful part of the country set amongst several well signed walks.Wonderful

We thank you for your review, it's great you enjoyed the many walks available locally. Time for a trim of the shrubs at the gate.
