About a month ago, my partner and I went up to Kaiteriteri to celebrate my birthday. What we didn't realize was that many of the restaurants closed super early during that time of the season, so we were left with no place to eat, and no food. When we asked the manager if he could suggest other dining options around...

Kia Ora Moniryni, Thanks for your wonderful review. During off peak season there are certain days that local restaurants and business close early or is simply not open due to the reduced foot traffic in the area. Here at Kaiteri Lodge we are one big family and loved having you join us for the staff meal, that's Kiwi hospitality for...

Rich at front desk was helpful and enthusiastic. We stayed in a short trip without booking beforehand and we're pleased with the family room. Thanks for the great weekend and the lovely scenery. We hope to return soon and would stay here again without reservation.

I stayed for the night on my way down south. The dorm room accomodation was great. The room was clean and tidy, we had an ensuite. The communal facilities were well maintained. Great and friendly staff. Comfy dorms and private rooms. I was there for a few nights. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The TV in the TV room had a HDMI cable so I could plug in my laptop and watch Netflix on the big screen. Restaurant is right next door. Amazing food!! Would definitely come back!!

We, a family of four with two grown up kids stayed here for a night. We saw some good review and booked this lodge which turned out to be a kind of back packers place and denitely not recommended for a family. Location of the lodge is good, you can say almost on the beach. Room was extremely small. With...

KIa Ora ADTravelerUae, Thank you for taking the time to review Kaiteri Lodge. It is disappointing to hear that you did not find the lodge up to your expectations. The lodge has a vigilant house-keeping team and all linen is replaced and rooms cleaned daily. Unfortunately, if a window is left ajar, we have had on the odd occasion one...

We checked in for a night. Greeted by a fab member of staff who was really cheery and very helpful. Lovely sized room with tea and coffee, and a large fridge so had we stayed longer we may have got some stuff in as there is a communal kitchen for people to use. Kaiteri Lodge had a nice vibe, very...

We stopped in Kaiteriteri for a night with Kiwi Experience. The Kaiteri Lodge was a great little hostel. We booked a double room and were surprised to find how spacious it was. The restaurant next door was also great and has a good deal on for Kiwi Ex backpackers. Overall we'd definitely stay again if we were passing through.

Kia Ora Casyomosa C, Thanks for taking the time to review Kaiteri Lodge. The dorm room your were staying in has four showers and two toilets located in the hallway directly opposite your door. Kia Ora TravellingTeacher22, Thanks for taking the time to review Kaiteri Lodge. Unfortunately, we do have issues with over crowding in the kitchen when both tour buses arrive at the same time.
