The Nempanzu has a fantastic seafood pizza with shrimp and lobster for about $8.00 US. The Steak on a Rock is also really good! Really good eats are not easy to find in Soyo but the Nempanzu always delivers.

Stayed in this hotel beginning of September 2016. Reason for staying is business. On the first sight it looks quite ok. But the rooms are not clean and bathrooms and the building itself is totally not maintained. Internet connection is poor. Breakfast very poor. One day there was even only bread. Staff is not really interested in offering a good...

May be considered as the best option in the Soyo district. Rooms are good and well served. Restaurant is essential but serves good meat on the stone. Internet could be improved a little bit. Summarily is a good Hotel

Well designed hotel, spacious and clean room and bathroom, good restaurant (buffet as lunch or dinner), nice staff. There were some issues with wifi/internet (no internet and nobody tried to explain it). If you are in Soyo - sleep there.

To a degree one can understand that the location of this hotel being in a rather remote town in Northern Angola would present difficulties in the ability to deliver a quality hotel experience but I don't buy it for a moment. Look at the town of Soyo and the billions of dollars spent there in the construction of the plant...

Very good hotel for this region. I recommend this hotel to travellers. Located at +/- 20km from Muanda (the coast of the RDC). Good equipment. Quality and price are OK as there are just a couple of hotels in this region.

Nempanzu is the best hotel you can find in Soyo, and the only one which deserve this definition. I've been there for work, and especially for business dinners and parties. The restaurant is nice, and the dish "lobster based" are absolutely the most advisable. Remember: you have to take into account where you are

I found myself booked into the Hotel Nempanzu before being mobilised offshore and was pleasantly surprised. Room: - Good sized room with twin beds but larger than a single bed so plenty of room. The bathroom was large and had a huge shower cubicle. The room did smell a wee bit foosty however, and a wee bit tired and in...

I stayed here two nights. Its the best hotel in Soyo. Expensive for what you get but Angola is like that. The buffet food wasnt great but there was something you could eat. The room is big but showing some signs of age. Aircon OK and some english tv channels. The outside area is a nice place to sit. The...

Last visit in Soyo dated from 2010. Great news : the Nempanzu is the best (and only) Hotel in town except the old one on the base. Food is acceptable and service ok. Great for Angola! 280$ per night but no internet working : have to use you Unitel data credit instead. Only 1 negative point : part of the...
