When travelling for business I try to stay away from the big chains and find something different. Occasionally one does find something that just a gem. This B&B is extremely welcoming, and very luxurious with an excellent breakfast. When I am in the neighbourhood, I will definitely stay overnight here.

I stayed here one night for during a businiess trip. And my first encouter with a B&B. It was great, really great. Great Hospitality, Great atmosphere, exactly the style I love which you see on her website. Great decoration of the rooms (4 in total) with eye for detail. Like the little card with a stamp, ready to sent, just...

Stayed there only 1 night but I'd definitely go back for longer. The room, B&B and the grounds are wonderful and beautifully decorated. Very close to the motorway but you can't feel its proximity. Rooms have Nespresso coffee machine, full size wine bottles, beers free of charge and very comfortable bed. Very clean and modern bathroom. Also liquor bar in...

Owner Miranda has an eye for detail and makes sure that you feel completely at home. We stayed in the appartment (´Luxury Room´) on the first floor: tastefully decorated with amongst others two easy chairs, a fire place and wonderful large beds. In the morning a delicious breakfast that varies daily, in the afternoon sweet delicacies that go well with...

After visiting war graves in Northern France and Belgium we needed somewhere to stay en route to the Harz mountains. We took pot luck with Asten as it seemed a reasonable distance. What an absolute joy to arrive and be greeted so warmly by Miranda. We had teas and coffees with lovely chocolates served in our room. The room was...

For us this B&B is ideal. Miranda is running her B&B perfectly. With only 4 rooms you can feel welcome as an individual. The rooms are very cosy and the breakfast she serves is with ample choice. The location is on a connecting road, so the B&B is easily accessible. Stepping into the house you can forget about your daily...

This must rate as one of the best B&Bs in Holland, if not in Europe! If you think I exaggerate I can only say that you must try it!!! A beautifully converted farmhouse has been transformed into a magical experience. Maybe the tasteful Christmas decorations and the beautiful nativity scene in the garden with mulled wine swayed us, but everything...

We chose this B&B because it has few rooms and hoped for personal service. Miranda more than lived up to expectations. On arrival, after a long drive from Leipzig she made us welcome with coffee and home made cake. Our room had more extras than we dreamed of, such as a fridge with beer, and a bottle of wine, chocolates...

Thoroughly recommend this b+b! Felt so welcome, Mirander couldn't do enough for us, from the extra pastry for afternoon tea to the offer of a lift into town. Dizzle the resident choc Labrador was a lovely welcome addition to our stay. I can't speak highly enough and we will certainly visit in the near future.

Miranda's warmth and style are immediate on arrival and this set the standard for the next 4 days along with the comfort of Hoeve Nijssen. We had the up-stairs room which is well furnished and spacious; a seperate bathroom filled with lots and lots of towels. Excellant beds with warm duvets and good sitting area plus the addition of a...
