My family and i had a wonderful time, the staff at the Hacienda Gripinas were extremely accommodating. The cabana's were great and the view was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this hidden treasure to everyone. Thank you for all the great memories!!!

To sad when places like this are abandoned. My wife is from this town and it was sad to see how deteriorated the facilities are. We booked a 2 weekday stay and we were the only ones staying. To start, they didn't honored the over the phone rate we booked. The front desk lady wasn't welcoming and seemed like she...

After watching a recent TV add placed by a local bank in PR about places of interest in the town of Jayuya, I decided to take my wife and one of my grandsons on a road trip to visit the town. I have to mention that just by chance we decided to stop for lunch at the Hacienda Gripiñas hotel....

Nice atmosphere and charm; surroundings were beautiful, but the rooms could have done with a bit of a clean and some renovation. The first room we were offered smelt very badly of urine and feet.... the hotelier clearly knew this, as the first thing she did upon showing us the room was to fling open the windows (did not help)....

Parador in an 1850s coffee plantation that was refurbished as a parador. No coffee has been grown there for awhile. The surroundings are simply beautiful, in the shadow of mountains and all very well-kept. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading after supper, listening to the coqui. We were driving cross country and stayed one night. It was cool enough to...

Went there in January, roads were undergoing construction works so hopefully it will be great getting there in a few months after a long trip, it wasn't impossible though. Surroundings and facilities are well kept and beautiful. They have captured the atmosphere of early century living. Restaurant needs a lot of improvement, service was good.
