gorgeous little bed and breakfast far in the mountains tucked into an exquisite little corner of paradise. hardly anyone knows about this place and I want to keep it that way. The weather int he mountains is cooler than seaside and the waterfall pool is sublime. The restaurant is terrific we loved our stay here!

wonderful place, great food, recommend the onion soup and the beef empanada. Jayuya is at the mountain and is very chill at February, love it. The room are ok. very basic. need a little renovation and the air conditioning is not necessary at all.

I'm a local from the east side of the Island. A 2 hour travel time to get to Hacienda Gripinas, but I decide to return after 15 years of my previous stay. The facilities continue to be well keep, with the exception of one of the pools, that is closed (apparently for a long time). However, in December, the water...

Four of us just stayed there on 12/12/16 and had a wonderful time. The hacienda is magical, lots of space to lounge if that's what you are looking for. The views from the balcony are spectacular and the staff is very friendly. The food was made to order and it was excellent. Very quiet place except for the coqui's which...

We booked to stay here after reading reviews in various guides. Unfortunately we all found the reality quite different. The facilities were very very basic and you must be prepared to rough it if thinking of staying or eating here. The rooms and beds were very uncomfortable. There is an unheated outdoor swimming pool. As far as I could ascertain...

Stayed at this b&b (former coffee plantation); it is off season so we were the only guests for the night! Getting there through the mountains was an adventure, but we were definitely rewarded! The meals are made to order but showcases local cuisine. Very affordable, fabulous experience. Bring mosquito repellent as the insects are very active at dusk and nighttime,...

I have always wanted to stay at this location. The building still has its original hardwood floors and windows. It has been maintained very well. Each room has an air conditioning unit, which is great during the summer. The bed wasn't real comfortable, but it wasn't the worst I had slept on. There are two pools, one close to the...

I had been to Hacienda Gripiñas in the 80's with my family when it was privately owned. I now returned years later and was happy to see that very little has changed. The property is nicely maintained and the rooms are clean and neat, without any luxury frills of any time; just basic rustic accommodations, but that is all we...

Essentials for what is needed for a visit in the Central Region for Business or Pleasure. Easy access and basics amenities. Nice pool and activity area. Good food. Quiet surroundings and nice balcony for reading, drinks and relaxing.

My husband and I spent a night at Hacienda Gripiñas last May. That was the first time we visited Jayuya and the Hacienda. We stayed during the week, before the Memorial Day weekend. The hotel is a rustic, former house of the owners of a coffee plantation. The lounge is a combination of the house's old living room and a...
