I visit this area on business a handful of times a year to spend time with my suppliers. I have stayed at the hotel 3 times now and it has been very good every time. The hotel is modern and clean, rooms are spacious, comfortable but with a minimalistic feel - the showers are excellent! Breakfast is served in a quiet breakfast room, a good selection of continental breakfast and good coffee. The adjacent restaurant is also very good but you are spoilt for choice for local restaurants to explore. One thing that really stands out about this hotel is the staff who are super friendly and super helpful. This is my first choice of hotel when visiting Casalgrande and the local region.

The room was great, it was really spacious, clean and well decorated and fully deserves a 5/5. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful......I just think the breakfast could be a bit better. Even though there's a bit of everything I just think something could be improved to reflect the hotel standards. The croissants were not nice and also the juices seemed to be of poor quality. With a better breakfast my mark would certainly be a 5+.

The hotel is located just outside Scandiano, a small town within a short driving distance (15 minutes, give or take) from Reggio Emilia. Without a car, movement and logistics might be slightly complicated but if you do have means for exploring the area (Reggio Emilia, Modena, Parma, the Apennines), the Boiardo sure makes for a quiet, convenient and swanky retreat.
The property is brand new; the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable and the adjacent restaurant (the "1495", helmed by Spyros Theodoridis who won the first edition of Masterchef Italy) makes for a nice complement to your stay.
Other plusses: free wi-fi, abundant breakfast, extremely helpful and friendly staff, large parking lot.
The property is brand new; the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable and the adjacent restaurant (the "1495", helmed by Spyros Theodoridis who won the first edition of Masterchef Italy) makes for a nice complement to your stay.

I stayed at the Boiardo Hotel last year during a snowfall that prevented me to go back home in the evening, but I was aquainted with its hospitality as I recommend it to visitors of the Company I work for.
the hotel has very stylish interiors and a chill out area next to reception with beautiful comfy seats and interesting art on the wall. the room I was given was not too big and moving around could be a problem if one is planning to stay more than one night, but the bed was extremely comfortble and the shower had a great shower spray. The toilet goodies are also really nice, organic skin products nicley packaged and with a lovely scent (a nice change from the usual toiletries one finds in hotel). Also i believe the hotel has bigger rooms available on request. Rooms are soundproof and a good sleep is almost certain, however I could not adjust the room temperature so I was a little hot during the night, but I believe it was just me not being able to find the thermostat.
The hotel is located very conveniently right outside the city center of Scandiano and IMHO it's the best hotel in the area, the others are either too scruffy or aim to be too exclusive, while the Boiardo offers a very good price/quality ration , good service and elegant atmoshpere without being too pretentious.

Staff: AMAZING - so helpful, so warm and very professional.
Linens/Mattress - One of the best night's sleep I've ever had out of my own home.
Definitely visit the restaurant next door. Traditional local cuisine, fresh ingredients and professional, attentive staff at reasonable prices.
The only thing this place is missing is a pool. Otherwise, it is a PERFECT place to stay if you are visiting Modena/Reggio Emilia...or even Parma (where many of the hotels are old and tired).

Had to stay in the area for a business meeting and they recommended the Boiardo.
The location is underwhelming - right next to a busy roundabout. However, step inside and you’re in a very beautiful example of simple, minimal, modern Italian design. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Rooms are surprisingly spacious too. The staff are elegantly dressed yet very warm & friendly.
Some people might find it a little cool for a romantic stay but it’s perfect for business users.
I would also highly recommend the attached restaurant 1495. Excellent, quality food at a reasonable price.

Breakfast is very good and has are large selection, but they should work on the coffee selection. Instant coffee just doesnt't fit to the overall experience with this hotel.

This hotel is stylish and modern while set in flowing Italian countryside. For a European hotel the rooms are spacious. Staff friendliness and attention to detail is equivalent to world renown 5star hotels.
We held a business meeting at the hotel as well. Meeting room amenities for more ideal - flexible lighting configuration, large screen protector, sound system and comfortable seats - and we were well attended to.
One odd thing, staff would not bring an iron to my room but they were willing to iron my clothes for me.

We came to this hotel for a car event in Maranello. The hotel rooms are exceptionally clean. Bed linen changed daily and extremely well laundered.
The staff are beyond amazing. They could not be more helpful or work any harder.
Sara, Andre and Filippo made our stay extremely pleasant and comfortable.
The hotel restaurant is also very good, lovely food and service .
Highly recommend this hotel.
Also has great parking and a fantastic underground car park with cameras .
The hotel also has a gym.
