Allegro Isora garners appreciation for its pristine pools, engaging entertainment, and diverse dining options, although there's room for refinement. While the hotel's cleanliness and lively atmosphere receive commendations, some guests suggest enhancing certain lackluster areas. The spacious rooms are acknowledged for their tidiness, yet grumbles about upkeep, noise, and dated design are not uncommon. Opinions on value are mixed, with some criticisms of the food and accommodations, but the location is celebrated for its beach proximity and local exploration opportunities. The service is often described as commendable, though not without the occasional delay.

So to start I have never done all inclusive and never really wanted to, I am a fussy eater I hate lounging by the pool and don't actually want to go anywhere but Florida haha. We did however want to go somwere warm for Christmas and the budget was not a Disney budget this time 🙄.
So we did some research and decided we would give Tenerife a try we wanted a hotel with plenty of entertainment with 4 more stars and allegro Isora seemed to tick those boxes.
We are a family of three with a 9 year old.
So we arrived and the hotel was welcoming and bright, we checked in and headed to our room. The room is large and has alll we need in it and apart from the limescale build up in the bathroom it was clean.
The staff are amazing (apart from one who I found very rude but after reporting to the customer care it was all dealt with and problem resolved quickly and effectively). The entertainment team for the children are amazing fun, welcoming and always happy to play.
I am a very fussy eater so for those of you like me don't worry, there is bacon, chips, pancakes, ice cream, salad, sag boll (some days) desserts, meat cooking station the list could go on but you will be fine.
We have run into a few problems not massive but here they are.....
We came back to the room one day and had no hot water 😒so we went to reception to be told we should leave a key card in the slot all day to keep the boiler in the room working, firstly this should be somthing we are told at check in and secondly I have never been to a hotel that does not just have a constant supply of hot water. Even when the boiler was on all day any more than a 20 minuet shower and it was getting cold.
If you stay up for the entertainment you will be in heaven it is fab but if you are like us and want to get back for around 10, we can hear the music in our room like we are still there and one night it was midnight before we could sleep.
The phone in our room was broken, we informed the staff and we never got a new one (not that we really needed it but it was not overly busy and they should be replacing broken things) we re reported it when we left so maybe it got sorted after that.
The pool areas are clean and the yes the pools are cold but the heated one is warm enough in 25 degree and sunny weather the other two still had people playing in them after all its all about just enjoying your holiday. We bought a wet suite of colder days so that my daughter could still swim.
The reception, restrant and bar have had a Recent update but the rooms and pool areas are in need of an update, there are some tripping hazards where there are cracks and holes in the floor but we were fine.
The air con unit is only small on the wall in the front room for under 30 degrees in the winter it was fine but I am not sure if it would be any good in the hight of summer if I am honest.
The treatments in the spa are amazing the the staff are lovely, they even cater to children, my daughter had a pedicure and a massage.
All in all we had a grate holiday and we would go again x

We stay here every January, this year was our seventh time. The location is excellent and the rooms are clean and spacious with first rate cleaning daily. There are three pools, one heated, and a three bar areas. The main restaurant had friendly waiters and superb chefs, wide range of food catering for every taste and fabulous ice creams! The paella made daily for lunch is second to none! We didn't have dinner despite being all inclusive as we prefer to dine out in nearby Alcala and San Juan, but their breakfasts are really lovely with a huge range of choices and an egg chef too! Waiters and bar staff were all nice, and we would particularly like to thank Gerardo for his service and Pierra for her help with our rooms. Our rooms had a balcony, sitting area, kitchen space and bathroom plus a bedroom very comfy beds and our housekeeper was efficient and helpful.
There was some maintenance work on the middle pool, but disruption was to a minimum and there was ample space at the other pools. The gardens are tidy and pretty. There is a taxi rank and bus stop directly out of the hotel, a supermarket on the doorstep and beautiful walks everywhere. Some guests had little or no manners and could make things unpleasant as they pushed in and were quite rude, we ignored this but did feel sorry for the staff at times. However, there could not be a better recommendation than people returning year after year, and we will be back next January for our 8th stay! Thanks to all, we had a fabulous time. Hasta pronto.

Just returned from a 5 night stay. We paid extra for a sea view room and ours was located on the 4th floor so views were fantastic. Rooms are spacious as you have a basic kitchenette and lounge plus small bedroom with built in wardrobes. All very clean and beds were really comfortable.
Restaurant is large - there were many families with children there during our visit and so it was noisy. The food however couldn’t have been better. Always plenty of choice, hot and well presented. Restaurant staff are very efficient and helpful. Lactose free yoghurts/milk and some gluten free items were available too.
You could help yourself to soft drinks, beer, water and wine in the restaurant, plus there were soft drink and beer dispensers in the bars.
We didn’t use the pool area as we prefer the sea but they were quite noisy and the beds close together. Once the centre pool area reopens I’m sure the sun beds will be spaced further apart. There is a request not to reserve sun beds but a few people still did of course.
There is nightly entertainment and some of the performances were very good.
Hotel is ideally situated for exploring the neighbouring resorts by foot though there is a very frequent bus service.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon.

Dear guest, Thank you for the great feedback of your recent holiday experience at our Allegro Isora; guest satisfaction is our number one goal and there is nothing better than achieving that. We regret reading that apparently we failed to ensure that our hotel policy, forbidding the reservation of sun beds, was respected during your visit. Your mentioning of this in your review did not go unnoticed and we are pleased to inform you that with immediate effect we will be enforcing the communication reminding guests that reservation of sunbeds without immediate use is forbidden in our hotel. On the other hnads, we are very pleased to read that you did like the room we accommodated you in and that you found it to be clean and comfortable at all times. Finally, I am grateful for your compliments towards our staff, whose kindness and helpfulness is one of our hotel's greatest strengths and I promise to congratulate them all on your behalf for their contribution to your wellbeing whilst in our hotel. Again we thank you for this very kind review of our hotel and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Best regards, Piera Gigliotti Guest Experience Manager

We stayed 3 nights on half board. I am going to start with the good things about the hotel. First the breakfast was good to very good. The location was great, walking distance to the beach. The actual pool area was good and so was the animation team.
Now the staff... They were incredibly rude. We were supposed to check in on Friday, check in time is at 14:00. We arrived to the hotel at around 12:00 spent around 15 minutes queuing and we checked in and were told that the room would not be ready yet so come back later. Made sense, check in time was only later. So we went for lunch on one of the local restaurants. At 14:20 we are given our room keys. We go to our room only to find that it was not cleaned yet from the previous stay. We go back to reception(remember every time we go to reception its at least 15 min queueing), they say, in 20 min the room will be ready. And we are like great we went to the pool bar still with no access to changing facilities to get on to our bathing suits. Back to reception(15 min queue again) still no joy 20 more minutes. Back to reception once more(15 min queue) after 20 min making time. Now we got the room(2 hours later than the check in time). We complained and were offered drinks during diner(I am going to come back to this).
The room was dated, there was a leakage on the tub that was leaking water to the floor, we grabed one of the towels and grabbed the water. When the room was cleaned the next day, that dirty towel that was full of water was put back on the rack for us to use.
On the last day we asked for soap, because they did not refill the soap ever, and we ran out, and was said to us that we would have some in a few minutes. I am back home now and I am still waiting for it.
On the check out time, they tried to charge the drinks that they offered in the first place to compensate us for the late check in.
I am reading reviews here from this hotel and it seems that there is a lot of people with the same opinion. Fact: it's not going to change unless something fundamentally change. The staff and management seems to think that we are just there so they can make money. But there is a lot more places that I can go, and I would not in a million years return to this place.

Very little English which don't normally bother me but pushy Pols mostly here at this hotel .
First rule : They don't like to Q & considering u Q like cattle at meal times they feel they have the upper hand .
Second rule : Get to know which fly tastes good with what dish .
Third rule : Take a very very cold shower and then and only then will the heated pool feel slightly warm .
The Deco of this motel Oops hotel is plastic all the way ! Tacky & Dirty
The rooms are basic & old .
The paintwork on all corridors are dirty .
The bath is not anti slip and the shower screen is too big for the bath hence a 12inch gap to squeeze out of but remember NOT ANTI SLIP .
The over flow on bath was uncovered so u have a dirty big hole "excuse the pun" within a DBH...
Jet2 got us moved asap but the hotel wanted to upgrade us to premium Al if we signed Documents which we were not prehaped to do but apprently u do get to eat a better class of fly but you still get to Q with some of the rudess people on the earth & sleep in solided mattresses.

Advoid at all costs !!

Dear Mrs. Janette, First of all, we would like to thank you very much for having chosen the Allegro Isora for your recent holiday on Tenerife and for having spent your valuable time on sharing your experience with us. Moreover we have taken good note of your remarks related to the presence of flyes within our grounds; given the climatology of Tenerife and its geographical position, depending on the humidity and heat, the presence of insects in any hotel, business or private house is unavoidable, nevertheless we have in place a specific preventive pest control plan as well as regular treatments to avoid their presence in the hotel.  Regarding our pools, we deeply regret your disappointment with the temperatures, however, only one of our pool is heated as it appears on our website. However, we will share your comments to our maintenance department so that we can find out if there is a fault in the system. Also,we are sorry to hear about the issues you had with our bathroom. Please accept our sincere apologies. Your feedback will be shared with our Maintenance Manager to ensure that this was an isolated issue that is corrected moving forward. We hope that you enjoyed your stay with us and we are looking forward to welcome you back in the near future. Best regards, Piera Gigliotti Guest Experience Manager

Arrived on Christmas Eve, late, checked in and found on entering our room there was an immediate issue with the toilet not working and a cupboard door hanging off in the kitchen. Reported and maintenance came while we grabbed food. Came back toilet still not working. Reported the next morning which was Christmas day and I had to use the toilet at the pool. TUI rep arrived and I explained issue an asked if we could be moved to a room with a working toilet. Rep said we had to come and speak to reception. Very rude lady told us we would have to pay as only had pool an sea view rooms. I explained they had to provide a basic facility of a working toilet. She was abrupt and sent maintenance back up. We waited 1 hour while the whole toilet was dismantled and replaced. Such a waste on xmas day. On further investigation we found the apartment filthy with cock roach droppings, leaking hot water tank and dirty shower head. Came back a few hrs later to find the bathroom flooded. No one to fix the issue on xmas day so had to put pans underneath leak which kept overflowing, really upset our xmas. The next morning I was so annoyed I demanded a manager came to the room. Piera the guest relation manager was very helpful and moved us to a superior room, with some extra perks. However the house keeping again very poor. There was a pubic hair in the bathroom on the tiles which remained there all week, robes and slippers provided, slippers were dirty. The layout of the complex is lovely. Meal times are a zoo. Came back to our table with food where our drinks were and a French family and made themselves at home, weren't going to move so we picked our drinks up and moved table. Also don't like being given a slot to eat. Husband was Ill for a full day with sickness and diarrhoea, he has never been Ill in 25 years. The surrounding area is nice and quiet and we walked a lot. I have dealt with TUI since returning who confirmed this hotel is not meeting the standards expected.

Took 30 minutes to check in. The entrance looks like a cotton candy factory. The rooms look tired and could use some renovation work. The lighting in the bathroom is very poor. At least, the alcohol is free :). We asked for towels (we are a couple) as the cleaning lady didn’t leave us any at all and it took 48 hours to get one towel delivered to the room - after asking 3 separate times! The room smelled like sewage occasionally and you can hear the neighbours as if they are literally in the same room as you. The food was very repetitive with not much variety. The WiFi was awful and didn’t work. The tiles around the entire hotel were cracked and you could easily stub your toe and get injured.
One night during one of our dinners, the air conditioner above us started dripping water onto our food... I hope we don’t get legionnaires disease lol.
We booked a courtesy room on the day of check out but of course we couldn’t utilise it cause check in for the new guests took ages again so we had to change in the middle of lobby. Poor organisation. Would not stay here again. 100% NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL AT ALL.

Dear guest, I am so sorry to see that your experience at our hotel was far from satisfying as it seems you encountered a number of issues. I can ensure you this is far from usual, and we regret not being immediately informed. We regret your disappointment for being unable to check in upon your arrival, at the hotel we always do our utmost to make sure our guests can check in as soon as they arrive, unfortunately during periods of high occupancy it may not be possible considering, we feel the inconvenience caused. Regarding your room, ee apologise for any smells that emanated from the pipes and affected your stay. These smells are not a regular occurrence and tend to be caused by external factors that sometimes affect the hotel and nearby buildings during certain months, which is why the Maintenance Department checks the pipes periodically. It is also with great concern that we have read your comments about the floor of our hotel, and we would like to tell you that we have recently renovated and fixed, however we will forward your comment to the management team because customer feedback helps us to improve, and we will keep it in mind for future infrastructure renovations. Thank you for your insights regarding the service in the reception, we always suggest to our clients to reserve the courtesy room in the morning after breakfast, but to avoid the queue with the departures of other clients, we apologize for the inconvenience. Once again, many thanks for your help to get to know the points where we can still improve the experiences of the ones that come to visit us and we truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on your next visit to Tenerife. We booked an all inclusive for 2 days. Check in took some time, should have more than 1 person at reception.

Our room wasnt ready when we checked in at 2pm so stored our bags and went for lunch.

Great variety of food, mostly buffet but some is cooked to order. Wine, beer and soft drinks a plenty.

After going to our room we were allocated a one bedroom apartment. Clean but needs attention in parts.

The pool area is on 3 levels, all clean. You pay €10 deposit per pool towel and €2 if you want to change it during your stay.

Cigarette machine on site.

All inclusive drinks are only from 10.30am till 11pm. Everything does shut down after that, pool bar shuts at 5.30pm. Hopefully that changes on the summer.

Animation team were fabulous! I didnt join in anything but that had everyone up and enjoying themselves.

Definitely think this hotel is more based around families rather that young couples.

Its clean, budget for what you get is good and the staff are polite.

Don't let the pictures fool you, it looks like an amazing hotel but sadly it isn't they have certainly filtered the pictures. The hotel is in need of a lot of work, it's grubby and run down!
The slide isn't open and neither is the drinks truck.

I want to start firstly by thanking Rosi, who worked in the restaurant and Mario who worked in the pool bar. These 2 members of staff really stood out as they where friendly, welcoming and made sure people where having a nice time!

So my first bad point is the room, we booked a pool view room for myself, my partner and our Toddler. On arrival our travel cot was in the hallway, right near the entrance to the room. The travel cot did not fit into the bedroom, we raised this issue with staff and they said that the travel cot would have to stay in the hallway or in the lounge area. I explained I was not happy for my toddler to be sleeping in another room to ourself. Especially as the door to our balcony did not lock! The offered no resolution to this, just told us they did not do any bigger size bedroom.
Our room just looked run down, was grubby and needed some tlc. A floor tile was chipped and very dangerous with a toddler. We had to put a plaster over this so he did not cut his foot.

On the hotels social media and website it shows off having a slide and this wasn't open during our stay. We asked and they said it would not be opening any time soon. They only had one lifeguard to cover all 3 pools. One day a little boy fell over and the lifeguard was no where to be seen.

The all inclusive is very limited, the food was okay but if you don't like fish you will not have much options. There was no consistency with what you could get from the bars. Cava and sangria was within the all inclusive but they would not do cava sangria??? Some staff would give my toddler ice cream from the pool bar, some would not. Making us pay for ice cream out of a locked fridge. Even though they did have ice cream in the kitchen?!

Also make sure you check your food before eating it as my partner was given raw chicken, which he took back and they just put it back on the grill.

The entertainment was very very poor and seemed to only really want to engage with those from France. No games or entertainment was offered to my 2 year old.

There was only 1 bin near the sunbathing area which was often over flowing.

Sadly we would not return and don't recommend this hotel.

Also when booking it stated that as we where all inclusive we would get 1 night at the a la carte restaurant- this actually does not exist?!

Don't be catfished. Book elsewhere

I was at this hotel a couple of years ago so it may have changed but if you are "standatd all inclusive" then on draught it was cruzcampo which you could help yourself to. If you were "all inclusive plus" then as well as the above there were some bottles of lager too like corona for example although you would have to get these from the bar as opposed to helping youself to them. If you mean actual "beer" as per your question then I do not recall anyone drinking things like john smiths.

Hi, I’m just a customer like yourself. My husband has mobility problems and the hotel is built on a hill with the restaurant and reception central to it. He had to use the lift to get to our room and found the mobility tiring. You will need to contact who you booked with or the hotel direct. Good luck
