Nuts Huts was one of my favourite places I've ever stayed. The staff were incredibly helpful in helping you get out and around, and there were also great hikes they offered too. Hiring a kayak to go up the river is highly recommended and the food in their restaurant is to die for. Every day I couldn't wait to eat...

Got there late and had great dinner. The room was very nice with nets over the bed. Mosquito repellent is neccasary since there are many Mosquitos . The common area is fun to stay in. The road that leads there is very bumpy so a bit hard to walk with suitcase . Many stairs as well. Enjoyed there but was...

I have to say that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience in Nuts Hust. We are looking forward to come back and spend there another holiday time. The place is amaizing, the environment is very beautiful, at evening time you have completely the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle with all the relaxing sounds and...

To summarize: We barely slept because the neighbors were so noisy doing their thing, that our hut was shaking. Not the staff's fault, but they didn't show any compassion either when we explained why we wanted to leave. Food, ok but a bit slow and not great. However; the site and surrounding are extremely beautiful. After reading about this place...

Dear reviewer, and travelers, First of all, I fully understand the concerns that were expressed in this review, and how it made the guests unhappy about their stay. Our bungalows are native-style and sound isolation is an issue - as in any other native-style accommodation in Loboc or anywhere else - we cannot fully address, and some neighbours are louder...

The way to the hostel is quite an adventure, especially if you carry backpacks etc. You might feel intimidated if you're heading there at night because it's pitch dark, so make sure you have a torch with you. The rooms are comfortable and by the river, our bathroom/toilet was not so nice, but the common area is wonderful. There you...

It's a bit long to come to the resort but it's really in middle of nowhere and it's what we were looking for ! The staff is really kind and helpful. The restaurant is perfectly located and I've the chance to see fireflies during the dinner. Food is good. The place is completely in the jungle and the houses are...

Hello Nina, Thanks for your review, and good to read you had a happy experience in Nuts Huts. The reason why we stick to our principle of no wifi is that it seriously helps create a convivial atmosphere in Nuts Huts with guests vividly talking to each other rather than silently to online conversation partners. I know there is also...

We stayed 3 nights in a four-bed dorm. It was a pretty nice dorm with the best mosquito nets we had during the whole travel in the Philippines. Unfortunately the mattresses were pretty wet causing to the rain maybe?! And after 3 nights I got a cold.. But ok! The sharing toilet was to disgusting to write a better review.....

Dear Travelers, Thanks for your reviews! If reviews are an indicator of which priorities a business - that cares - should set itself to keep guests happy, this write-up could not have been timed better: our dorm has been closed for renovation of the bathroom/toilet since 15 Aug, probably till end of Sept. We are building a brand new bathroom/toilet...

This is by far the best place I stayed at in 5 weeks all around the Philippines. Clean and comfy dorm beds and common bathroom, friendly and very helpful staff, gorgeous environment, awesome relaxing common area, good food. Everything is calm and beautiful here. I would have stayed forever and will definitely stay here again if I ever go back...

If you're looking for a unique place to stay and are not looking for luxury and wifi I highly recommend this place. The boat ride to the guesthouse was really nice. When we arrived at the guesthouse, we immediately knew we wanted to stay for more than one night. The area is really beautiful and peaceful. The staff is really...
