Ok, let's cut to the chase. If you are looking for a pool, with a bar, room service, air conditioning and non stop pampering then you are looking at the wrong place (and to be quite honest, why would you expect it when you read what Nuts Huts actually is). But if you want real jungle, humid, nipa huts, hiking,...

We stayed for three nights, although one would have been enough if we hadn’t had jet lag and inertia. Staff were all nice, of course, and the food was good. There were two negative issues here for us. One was the hut, with a shared wall which was no problem as the other couple were quite quiet, was dark and...

Amazing location with incredible views of mountain and river.surrounded by lush forest.food was ok;some good some bad.huts are very basic with fairly yuck toilets that u have to flush yourself with a bucket of water.not for the faint hearted.beds are uncomfortable and mosquito nets smelt so bad of mildew that I had to remove it to sleep.pillows so lumpy and...

Dear reviewer and travelers, Thanks for your review(s). We were happy to read you found the location amazing and rated our massage the best in your life, and enjoyed the herbal sauna too. As for the 'not so good' aspects of your stay, the lumpy pillows and 'smelly' mosquito nets would be mainly caused by jungle humidity. We wash and...

Great base for exploring Bohol. Nipa huts by the river and a great vibe in the dining area, where the food and drink is fresh and great tasting. I wish i could have stayed longer. The hang out/dining area has hammocks, tables, chairs and loungers with super friendly staff. A dark path at night with over 250 stairs to climb...

Stayed here last year and can't stop thinking about it. I have travelled a lot in my life and this place is just amazing. I remember arriving at night, my friends were so scared to cross the forest to reach the place but I asked them to just stop for a second and look at the stars in the sky,...

Well first some things to be aware of: 1 not suitable if you have trouble climbing many stairs or if ur afraid to drive a dirt road 2 not suitable if you cannot handle sweat esp in wet season ; no wind Yet a very nice location, good food for the money and nice centraal location. No wifi but good...

Thanks for your review. Most guests to Nuts Huts seem to take the stairs in their stride as it is an 'energy stroll' (admittedly not 'a walk in the park') between the bungalows and the restaurant. As our info folder says 'the stairs tell you the condition your condition is in', in a way. The Nuts Huts access road, a...

We just went to Nuts Huts for lunch and (unfortunately) did not stay overnight. The location in the middle of the jungle is just great. I enjoyed the location more than the tour to the chocolate hills. The food was ok. You cannot get there by car. Even if you have a motorcycle, you have to walk the last 100ish...

We LOVED this place! Nuts huts is a gorgeous setting by the river. The staff are friendly & helpful. The food is great! We really appreciated the activity book which helped us make the most of our visit and after a couple of weeks in the Philippines were secretly pleased to find porridge and granola on the breakfast menu! We...

We were looking for what it advertises, a quiet and peaceful place in the middle of the jungle, but in fact the only thing that was true for us was the middle of the jungle part. Once we got our keys we discover a place which probably wasn't properly cleaned for a while, the two thing which surprised us the...

Dear reviewer, dear travelers, Thanks for your review(s). I will try and address the issues brought up in this review, a variety of things that have prevented these guests from enjoying their stay as much as other guests usually do. I have taken my time to look into these issues so here goes: The blood stain on the lamp is...

Nuts Huts was one of my favourite places I've ever stayed. The staff were incredibly helpful in helping you get out and around, and there were also great hikes they offered too. Hiring a kayak to go up the river is highly recommended and the food in their restaurant is to die for. Every day I couldn't wait to eat...
