The hotel webpage announces, quoted "An airport shuttle service is available", unquoted. I arrived late in the evening at the airport to find a message from the hotel at the bus station that the shuttle is to be booked in advance. I spent about 9 min waiting desperately on someone to take my call. Finally I had to take a...

I arrived at the hotel at night. Taxi set me back bit less then 30€ ( one direction). I remember my traveling agent saying " ops, they got shuttle that can get you from the airport to the hotel, but it's not cheap." Well, taxi ain't cheap either. But this is Munich area so I was kind of expecting it....

Although closer to Munich Airport than any other airport, the hotel is inconveniently situated w.r.t. the airport, and traffic in the morning was problematic. Most rooms were fine, but those off Reception were not shielded from all Reception noise (such as a crying baby at 05:30). Breakfast was good, with an adequate choice. In-room facilities were all there. Staff were...

True, it is closer to Munich Airport than downtown, but you could say the same about the Mercure in Nurnberg... The hotel itself is not bad but nothing special, the standard Mercure fare tucked away in a little village in the middle of nowhere. With own transport it is a very good budget alternative to the grossly overpriced downtown hotels,...

I have been to many Mercures, this is normally a reasonable brand throughout Europe. This hotel is rather small; bad breakfast (15€) and small rooms & poor shower (in bad shower). The reception does speak good English and was very friendly thats what is saving the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it :(

This airport hotel was very difficult to find, the address was not found on sat nav, so we took the hire car back and took a taxi to the hotel, the taxi couldn't find it either. This hotel is advertised as an airport hotel but a taxi to the airport is €32-40. So not that close! The hotel reception had...

30 € cab drive between airport and hotel. No restaurant in hotel. Rooms are non renovated and below normal Mercure standard. Lufthansa lost my luggage and the hotel did not even have a hair comb!! empathy 0!! I checked-out and went the Marriot that provided me a warm welcome, upgraded me to make me feel better and tracked my luggage...

Stayed here with 2 colleagues for 3 nights. It is close to the airport (about 13 km, we've paid 30 euro by taxi) but rather far from Munich. If you travel by car (or going to rent it here), you'll really like this hotel. But if you're going to travel by public transport, don't choose this hotel because you'll spend...

This place is really odd. Named "airport hotel" it is a good 20mins drive from the airport in the middle of a Bavarian village. Once you have made it there, you will find a hotel that is well below the standard I have experienced in Mercure hotels. Noisy hallways, tiny breakfast room (cramped and understaffed), weird conference rooms in a...

Our Mercure Hotel experience pretty much ruined our view of Germany. After getting off our flight we asked a taxi to take us to the hotel, he had no idea where it was and told us to take a bus - great start for a supposed airport hotel. The first bus driver we asked told us to hop in, charged...

“You need to be careful when booking, because this hotel (quite unique among Mercure) actually has single bed rooms. I booked a queen size bed for the two of us, and reservation as received by hotel was for a single room.”
