I was so pleased to stay here again on business. This is one of my favorite hotels in the world. If you want glamour, this is not it. What this hotel has is warmth, hospitality, incredible quality in Restaurant Jim, clean, well accommodated rooms and the feeling that you are home. This 16-room hotel is run by the Pini family,...

Stayed at Hotel Sassella and was extremely happy. Staff were excellent and were always attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and a good bed. My parents had a room on the top floor with a great balcony with an outdoor lounge, overlooking the park and surrounding area. We ate dinner at the restaurant which...

We have been at Jim's place quite a few times by now and we keep enjoying it. Especially the friendly attitude of the staff, always very helpful and nice (especially at the reception and in the dining room). And the food, which is definitely a plus. The rooms are very spacious and with everything you may need. The location, in...

We stayed at the Hotel Sassella, and ate at their restaurant last weekend. We were in Grosio for a close (Italian) friend's wedding. We drove from Milan with a 9 month old baby. The staff and managers were so very friendly and helpful to us, we were really touched with the effort they went to to make us feel at...

I stayed at the Sassella for 2 nights and it was really good. The room had enough Space with a beautiful bathroom. The only negative point was the temperature in the room (~28degrees) without the possibility to use climatisation . Hopefully it was possible to open the Windows. I tried also the wellness center that i really appreciated. One more...

It's a nice hotel in the center of the village. There's a very good restaurant on the ground floor and a spa center on the fourth floor of the building. I lived on the third floor, the problem was in the room, the ceiling was damp and there was a big black mold spot in the corner (around 20 cm...

I can't believe that I forgot to review this really excellent hotel. I've stayed twice, once in August during the busy summer season and most recently during autumn, a much quieter season. Both times I've been well looked after. The rooms are lovely. When my husband and I stayed in summer we loved the large room on the top floor...

I went here for business back in 2009-2010 area and I could not believe my eyes. This little family owned hotel made me feel like home. They would ask me what I wanted for breakfast and make it for me. Being from the US - this was a culture shock for it was like personal service. At the time the...

The rooms are elegant and comfortable and clean and the hotel has a great atmosphere with professional staff. The restaurant is exceptional. Try the Pizzoccheri and other local dishes. An excellent base for exploring the region which is rich is history and beautiful alpine scenery.
