Me and my husband went here for our honeymoon and was warmly greeted by reception with some drinks. The hotel is stunning with beautiful grounds and staff could not do more for you. Our room was beautiful and had a lovely big shower and bath tub. The bedroom itself has air conditioning but the bathroom doesn't have much ventilation, making it very warm. Rooms come with your own bath robe and slippers which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice, offering a range of different things to eat. The hotel was well maintained and very clean and our room was cleaned on a daily basis. The food in the hotel is a bit more expensive so we ate out a lot but ordered room service on a couple of occasions and the food was delicious! The hotel offers a spa on site but we didn't bother visiting as there massages were overly priced! Would recommend going to Fritta massage place which is a short walk from the hotel. The only negative thing I would say about this hotel is that it is quite hard getting around it as it is quite steep. They have shuttles to take you round it but you still have to be able to walk up and down stairs and get on and off the shuttle bus. We are quite physically fit but still struggled. Just to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Otherwise the hotel provides shuttles to the beach at set times which is a 10 minute walk otherwise. Would also recommend walking outside of the hotel for taxis as they are quite expensive at the hotel reception. We had a lovely TUI rep called Sai, who helped us with our excursions and anything else we needed! Beautiful pools, lovely staff and an amazing hotel to stay in. Would recommend!…

Excellent resort! The welcome to the hotel was wonderful - Lemon was the lovely lady booking us in. We were taken up to our room in the golf cart and the driver helped us inside our beautifully appointed Horizon View room and showed us how to work the air conditioning. The room was clean, and there was a lovely ‘Welcome Home’ message on the bed. Our room had a separate bathroom and shower room and all were kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. We mainly frequented the Mango pool (one of the 5 available) - it was 2 minutes from our room! The swim up bar was brilliant, and the cocktails served by Golf were delicious. The restaurant for breakfast was very good - a great variety of foods available. If you struggle with hills/steps, this may be an issue for you but there are golf carts available to take you where you want to go. There is even a shuttle service that you can take from reception down to Karon Beach (approx 20 minute walk). We had the joy of a ‘Disco Tuk Tuk’ take us back up to the hotel at 200B a time on a couple of occasions later in the evening. If you want a taxi anywhere, the people on reception are more than happy to book one for you - there is a standard set of prices. We also booked the James Bond Island tour through reception - the Mandarava made us up a breakfast to take with as it was a very early morning pick up! The other 2 really helpful people we spoke regularly with were Ninja and Peary. Thank you all for making our stay amazing! The best Resort and Spa in a loooooong time. The Hotel is modern, clean and we had a wonderful view from our room. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our room was near the banana pool which was very private and had the best view of all. Loved the Jungle feeling! Would recommend this Resort and Spa. The Treatments were really good. It was a very nice hotel. The atmosphere was nice, and the breakfast buffet and cocktails at the pool bar were delicious. When I asked for additional towels in the room, they responded kindly and quickly. Nice services. Spa treatment and massage were very good , I was happy with the therapist's kind and thorough treatment. But there is only one disappointing point The jacuzzi of spa was so cold that I couldn't stay in it for even a minute. I'm not saying that the water should be as warm as a bath, but I wish they would think about the temperature a little more. Anyway, we spent wonderful time there Thank you so much

We thought this was a gorgeous resort and like being in a rain forest. The rooms are really big and beautifully decorated. My husband did find the bed a bit too firm for him but my daughter and I were OK. The bathroom is also large with a lovely shower and another shower over the bath. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very hilly but we usually got their little shuttle to take us to and from our room that was always there instantly. Only about a 5 min walk to nearby restaurants and 10 mins to the more central area of Karon. Our pool area was nice with comfy sun loungers. Overall a great experience but could possibly be difficult for people with mobility problems.

A beautiful hotel with amazing pool areas and delicious food. The BBQ night was a particular highlight. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The shuttle service around the hotel is very helpful and speedy.

Stayed at Mandarava for 7 nights. Beautiful hotel, the grounds of the hotel are very well maintained. We stayed in the Sea Pearl private pool access room, was great to have your own private plunge pool with jacuzzi. Although the room was situated at the top of the resort which is a hike to get to but there are hotel buses which will take you from the lobby. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We only eat breakfast in the hotel as there was lots of restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Celebrated my birthday at the hotel and they left a birthday cake which was a lovely touch. My only criticism would be the lighting in the room wasn’t the best and very dim in the bathroom but did not spoil our stay.

Mandarava was the first hotel that we stayed in in Phuket, it is located in a lovely area. We could easily walk from the hotel to the beach and to numerous amazing restaurants. The hotel also provides a shuttle every hour. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel is fantastic, a varied spread and all very high quality, the Thai night buffet was particularly amazing. All of the pools are great, we spent our time by the middle pool and one near our room, the two smaller pools to the ‘front’ of the hotel are not as nice as the others (still very nice but smaller and near the road). The rooms were amazing. I would go back!

Very very steep this hotel has ridiculous steeps and slopes up , failed to enjoy exploring the hotel due to the extent of the inclines when walking around it , the staff are friendly and the place is clean , pool was nice , artificial grass was patchy and needed replacing , again staff hang around for tips every time they serve you with a drink , becomes very annoying

Great resort. Staff is very friendly and professional. Especially the front desk staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us and another traveling couple. The rooms are spotless, clean, new, not a single issue. Pools are spectacular. The grounds are manicured like a botanical garden. A top resort in Phuket, extremely satisfied.
