We are relaxing in this hotel. Upon entry there is a required deposit of $200, we were greeted with a welcome drink, since we arrived late, we were checked in immediately. The room is comfortable, clean, all appliances (including a coffee machine, iron and ironing board) are in working order, a fairly large balcony and a master bath. There are cosmetics and mini sets of everything you need for hygiene (nail file, razor, toothbrushes, etc.) The entire mini bar is paid for and even soft drinks except water, they bring it and replenish it during cleaning. The breakfasts are delicious and quite varied. In the first half of the day, a Russian-speaking employee Dmitry (Mat) sits at the reception, will help you in case of any problems or questions, speaks fluent English and Thai. Wifi is available on the hotel premises 👍🏻 The sea is 1 minute walk from the hill, so there is a short climb to the hotel. The beach is excellent, wide, easy access to the water. The vacationers are mainly Russians, Chinese, a few Germans and French. There are always free places by the pool. The rooms are cleaned daily, if you need it at a specific time, you can call the reception and ask. There were no problems with water pressure in the room, we washed ourselves several times a day, everything was ok) In the evening, a very romantic atmosphere by the pool, lanterns, pleasant music, the hotel has a restaurant, tables right in the pool (only steaks and lobsters). The hotel itself was a pleasant experience, we are glad we chose it. Special thanks to the employee Matt, he solved our problem with registering for private dentistry, and also helped with other issues that arose during the holiday, thanks to him!

We were on holiday at the Avista Grande Phuket, and we were very pleased! The hotel has a good location – although it is not on the first line, Karon Beach can be reached in 5-7 minutes on foot. The beach is clean, the sand is pleasant and creaks underfoot. Beach beds cost 100 baht.
Breakfasts at the hotel are simply magnificent, the choice is great, and we have not had time to taste all the dishes during our stay. If you have an early check-out or tour before breakfast, you will get a snack lunchbox, which is very convenient.
Our room was on the second floor overlooking the garden. The sea view, in my opinion, is not particularly justified – maybe it makes sense to choose it only on the 4th floor and above. Cleaning was done every day or on request. Upon check-in, a $200 deposit was required, which was returned without problems.
The room has everything you need, including a very comfortable beach bag. The air conditioning worked well, especially in the dehumidification mode, which proved to be essential in the humid climate.
I would particularly like to mention the presence of Russian-speaking personnel.

We were probably the only ones in Phuket with it inclusive. The hotel offered the option; to say it was expensive would be an understatement, but since it was a gift, we agreed. I don’t recommend anyone to repeat our experience, because the hotel staff (Thais) have a very poor idea of what it is. If it weren’t for Dmitry Matt (he really exists! and all the reviews about him are true!) and the restaurant manager Yulia, then our first vacation in Tai would have been significantly overshadowed. Both Dmitry and Yulia instantly responded to all questions/requests and surrounded us with attention and care, many thanks to them! I really liked the hotel itself in terms of comfort, convenience and design, as did Karon Beach. In the room there is a coffee machine, ironing board, iron, umbrella, flashlight, flip-flops. If you don’t want to be given change in baht from the $100 deposit at the time of check-out, counting something insignificant from the minibar, I advise you to find out everything about the bill the day before. A couple more unexpected and unpleasant nuances, already outside the hotel - after checking in your luggage at the airport, you weren’t allowed to take plastic fruit baskets into your hand luggage, fruit is ok, baskets are not! And next to it is a mountain of empty baskets abandoned by passengers. But people buy them specially at the market so that they can arrange the fruit neatly. Upon arrival home, we discovered that fruit and magnets were missing from the suitcase (without film and combination lock)!! Aeroflot Vnukovo, there are simply no words, if I had not encountered this myself, I would never have believed it. Thai English is something) but they use translators on their phones very confidently. If you want an individual excursion by taxi, this is also Dmitry’s, we took it, we liked it. Have a nice holiday everyone! P.S. The husband says that the local Regency cognac brought to him is very good.

We were very pleased with our choice of the Avista Hotel for our holiday in Karon! The hotel is excellent! One of those where you want to return. The area is small, but very green and well-groomed. The location of the hotel itself is good - the beach is across the road, there are many different cafes nearby with delicious Thai cuisine. Incredibly beautiful pool (all photos posted are true), there are not very many sun loungers by the pool, but you can find a free one. The room is luxurious - spacious, cozy. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean. Daily high-quality cleaning; during cleaning, bed linen and towels are changed, water, tea, coffee, and other supplies are replenished. There is an iron and ironing board. Breakfast is good, there is enough fruit, various desserts, and good coffee. The staff is very friendly. Many thanks to the staff for the quality work! We express special gratitude to the manager Dmitry. He does his job 100%, in addition, he is simply a sincere and sympathetic person, he can solve absolutely all issues. During our vacation, unfortunately, our granddaughter became seriously ill. Dmitry agreed with the clinic to examine the child and surrounded us with care and attention. Such an employee is invaluable to the hotel, an amazingly pleasant person! We will be happy to return to Avista again and will recommend the hotel to our friends!

The hotel corresponds to the stated description. The location is excellent, the beach is excellent, all the infrastructure for every taste is nearby. Upon arrival, a deposit of $100 per person is charged, against which you can order everything at the hotel (which is very convenient), or upon departure it is returned in your own banknotes. There is a decent spa center. There is a Russian-speaking employee at the reception, Kirill, very pleasant and friendly, ready to help if you have any questions. *Rooms: Freshly renovated in a modern style, spacious rooms with terraces. There are also rooms with swimming pools. We lived in a room with a view of the mountains (it was quiet and only the cicadas were singing), then with a view of the sea (I also liked it even more, in vain we were afraid of the noise from the pool, it was quiet in the evenings and quiet at any time with the doors closed, but the view was more interesting and the sunsets were beautiful) , the room has a shower and a bathroom, a spacious room, all accessories are available (gels, creams, toothbrushes and pastes, cotton swabs, discs, etc.) bathrobes and slippers are also available. The room with a sea view had a capsule coffee machine, tea, etc. *Staff: extremely friendly, cleaning service 5+ (we had a maid Biw, she left us cute crafts from towels on the bed and fresh flowers, everything was clean and tidy) Water was replenished daily in the room. Towels were changed. Beach ones were changed if necessary and several times a day. *Breakfast: decent, in addition to classic toast/eggs, etc., several cuisines from different countries are presented (including quite lunch dishes such as rice/noodles/potatoes, seafood/meat/cheese assortment, fresh fruit assortment, separate area with freshly squeezed juices and a juicer with peeled vegetables for those who want to squeeze out juice to their own taste. Desserts, a sufficient assortment of pastries for every taste. A separate refrigerator with several types of yoghurts and yoghurts with fresh fruit. Coffee is excellent (coffee machine, you can make it yourself / the waiters can bring it). very helpful and nice. There are several restaurants on site, with themed dinners offered every day. *Territory: well-groomed, lots of greenery, trees and flowers. The hotel is small, which creates coziness and there are no crowds anywhere. The pool is excellent with jacuzzi areas and an in-water bar with a full menu and a variety of cocktails (all delicious) Free sun loungers are always available. When checking out, they gave me a cute soft toy) nice☺️ also, by the way, they congratulated me on my birthday, there was a beautiful and delicious cake in the room with an inscription and flowers)

The hotel, of course, is above all praise! When we were traveling, we had no doubt that we would like him, but he exceeded all our expectations) on the day of our arrival, Dmitry, about whom many people write here, was not on shift, but we were accommodated by a wonderful girl who explained everything, told us, showed us and sent us for a walk while our room was being prepared) By the way, upon entry you are given welcome tea and a banana treat) The rooms are gorgeous, we had a view of the mountain, you can see the big Buddha from the room) Cleaning is daily, but be aware that it is in the afternoon, if you want it cleaned in the morning, just go to the reception and say so. Everything will be done) By the way, we met Dmitry on the second day, an excellent young man. Always ready to help. Gave me my number to write to him if I have any questions) By the way, it’s strange that everyone here writes about him, but no one mentions that there is just a wonderful Russian girl working at the restaurant - Yulia) Special thanks to her too for finding us a table in the restaurant when everything was reserved) All the staff are friendly and ready to help! Always contact them if you need anything) The hotel has a good gym, there is always somewhere to work out) There are not many sunbeds, but you will always find a free one. There were three of us and there were always places and we could lie on the sunbeds nearby) The pool is cool, but now is the beginning of the season, it just doesn’t have time to warm up, I think that from December it will be warmer) Oh, by the way, I almost forgot to write about their chef, who cooks like a god!!! You can see him in all the advertisements of Phuket, and for good reason, because he is really gorgeous, like, you know, the local Gordon Ramsay) the breakfasts are excellent, the dinners are just a masterpiece!! I’ll add photos from dinner, stayed on Friday to watch the fire show❤️ When leaving we were given little elephants and it was VERY nice! The only thing I would like to add is more water. There is water in the lobby and in the hall, you can drink it, but it’s hot on the island, so if there was more water on the hotel premises it would be just great) Upon entry they take a deposit of $200, but upon departure it is returned, so be prepared to pay at the very beginning and take $200 more with you) The beach is across the road, walk 3-5 minutes, no more) By the way, the hotel is very well located, you can walk around Karon, or you can go to the next kata, about 15 minutes walk) It seems that everything is fine, I haven’t forgotten anything) Thank you very much to the hotel for our wonderful vacation! Come here everyone, you won't regret it🫶

This is our second vacation at this hotel. Last year was a year ago and we decided to return. And in vain. This year the service has deteriorated significantly. The elevator is terribly stuffy and the stained walls are never cleaned. We immediately got a room with a stink from the bathroom. The food delivered to your room is tasteless: pad thai noodles have undercooked hard noodles, tom yum soup is simply disgusting! Almost empty broth - no mushrooms, no tomatoes, no herbs... a little slurry with seasoning from a bag and 4 shrimp... yes, in Moscow they cook tom yum more Thai than here. The cafe on the beach on the rock has a hundred times tastier soup. Cocktails at the pool, as well as at the rooftop restaurant, have become simply terrible! Instead of a premium cocktail at a “premium price,” you get a super-sweetened liquid that tastes like tap water. The beach towel system has been changed. Now they are not changed at the pool, but in the room when cleaning. It is very uncomfortable. You either need to look for a cleaning lady and ask to change the towels, or go somewhere from the room and wait for the cleaning to be completed. The air conditioner blows mercilessly directly onto the bed and the ability to regulate the air flow is blocked, we are freezing, and it is also very noisy and interferes with sleep at night. Today we were at Chard's grill restaurant and we really didn't like the service. The food was also not worth the 4500 baht spent. The waitress, after 20 minutes of waiting after ordering, returned to me asking what cocktail I ordered, saying that the bartender forgot. As she took the order, she gestured with her ballpoint pen, constantly waving it in front of my face. We also ordered ice cream for our daughter called vegan mango sorbet, we explained that she is allergic to all dairy products and lactose in any products, she just needed 2 scoops of sorbet. We waited 45 minutes and ended up with ice cream on a base of crushed cookies containing milk. Why did it take 5 minutes when accepting the order to clarify about our allergies?! Never set foot in this place again. Yes, the cocktail was removed from the bill, and the sorbet was remade (which took another 10 minutes of waiting), but the dinner was completely ruined. The hotel staff stopped trying to fulfill orders well. Now here they only want to get money from you, and the quality of services is already at the level of “it will do.” We don't like this attitude. On social networks the hotel boasts of its annual awards... but having been here for the second time, I want to ask - what are the awards for? From whom? Your service just sucks, you no longer maintain the required level.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The reception and check-in process were smooth and welcoming, with the front desk staff being incredibly helpful in finding the perfect room for me. The property itself is well-maintained, offering a peaceful atmosphere just a short walk from restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is only a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient. The breakfast was rich and varied, and I especially enjoyed rooftop bar and its great view. The international buffet at the restaurant was super, everything was well prepared and tasted authentic (thinking especially of the Indian chicken tikka or the Singapore soup). There's also a great pool bar for drinks. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway!

I really liked the hotel for its location and great design. Every corner of the territory is decorated with taste, a lot of greenery and flowers. Nice pool with jacuzzi areas and a bar that serves delicious cocktails. The sun beds near the pool are large with good mattresses and umbrellas. Our room was spacious, beautiful and functional, with a huge and comfortable bed and a panoramic view of the sea. The room had a stocked refrigerator (minibar), bottled water, electric kettle, capsule coffee machine, iron and ironing board. The bathroom had not only a shower, but also a large bathtub. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and varied, it was held in a very beautiful restaurant, there were always free seats. It’s a pity there were no cuts of red fish (salmon) and dry-cured sausage or meat. The staff is friendly and attentive, I would especially like to mention Dmitry and Yulia. (Yulia works in the restaurant area) The guys help Russian-speaking tourists with all questions, especially Dmitry. (He gave me his phone number, which you can call at any time, even if he has a day off) In the evenings, there is live music in the pool area, either a girl playing a folk instrument, or a saxophonist, and on Fridays there is a fire show. Karon Beach is across the road, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Beach towels are good, large, and were changed when the room was cleaned. It would be more convenient after the sea or pool not to drag wet towels into the room, but to change them somewhere in the hotel. Our stay at the hotel left us with the most pleasant memories, and we would like to return here again.

The hotel is nice and clean. The hotel manager Matt was very friendly and always tried to give the best for the guests. The cleaning staff for the rooms were very friendly and very accommodating, especially Opla and Aoy! The breakfast buffet was extremely extensive! But there were far too few pool loungers for the number of guests (towels run out from 6 a.m. for loungers). Music at the pool was far too loud. Rooms facing the pool were absolutely too loud and had no great view. Rooms facing the mountain were catastrophic but quiet. The walk to the beach was a disaster, either because of the rubbish or because you had to cross a very busy road!! The beach is not quiet as described, but absolutely overcrowded. This is not the Thailand we have experienced otherwise!!!!
