situated on a fantastic hill top location with a superb view of a lake and surroundings, this place really misses a trick, big time. too far to walk into town (and whilst with a charming old part town, it is completely dead and uninspiring despite being early september when i visited), the site could be the selling point. however, there...

Expensive.....absurd for what you get=nothing. Bland ordinary hopeless joint that does not even have a bar! Is this a hotel? No. Its more like a poor motel. Absolutely NO English is spoken here. Its primarily for travelling salesmen.......so zero is provided for tourists. The town is busy and dull to visit.

A clean modern hotel with an attractive location overlooking a lake but totally lacking in any charm. There was no wifi although this was apparently knocked out by a violent storm over a week before but had still not been fixed. Overpriced considering the lack of amenities and utilitarian nature of the establishment.

Stopped here as it looked ok from the road and itches late evening. Nice and new....ish, but no bar and not allowed (I kid you not) to have a beer on the terrace over looking the lake. No shower gel in the shower and lights in room did not work upon arrival, very poor. How this Hotel has 3 stars...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting the area - we warned the reception that we would be arriving after reception had closed and they kindly allowed us an entry code so that we could check ourselves in. The hotel is relatively simple but very clean and tidy and although we didn't meet any staff when we checked in, the...

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. What a shame - the location is so beautiful, overlooking the lake, but when I arrived, in the middle of the afternoon, the doors were locked! I had booked in advance, and was tired after a long drive, but there was no note on the door, or any indication when someone...

We really felt let down. According to the price and the advertisement, we expected something better. We choose this one because they say it is a restaurant hotel. Friday night, no restaurant !!!!! You can not take your room when you want (for exemple only between 12pm and 2pm), they don't make any effort to arrange you. For one "Inter...

I stayed two days in St Yrieix so I spent two nights here. The reception was very good. The lady who greeted me was nice despite the fact that she didn't speak english very well. The room was very nice too. The bathroom was clean. The decor in the room is minimalist but nice and modern and the view from...

However we allowed for the fact that this hotel is a bit like a Premier Inn in the UK. This hotel does not offer any service but the rooms are acceptable and the view from the rooms overlooking the lake just breath taking(try it at sunrise) For those that need a bar there is a great restaurant 10 minutes walk...

This hotel is best described in one word 'Minimalist' the service was minimal, the comfort was minimal, the bill bucked the trend and was excessive. Our first night we were left completely alone, the staff, ALL of them went home at six o'clock, we couldn't get a cup of coffee never mind a drink from the bar. If we were thirsty...
