This welcoming hotel is perfectly situated for a lovely view of the port from the balcony of your room and the proprietor Antonia just can’t be beat. She was always available, focused on your wellbeing and her desire for you to have a relaxed time at her hotel. We had a bit of a hard time finding her in the...

The hotel is in the hub of the Port overlooking the harbour. We had a room which was very clean and comfortable with a balcony and the staff we excellent and friendly. Breakfast was not too expensive and served on the terrace. We would return to the hotel and the area in particular was stunning. Do take a boat tour...

Very nice hotel with good location. It is overlooking a port, and you can hear waves in the morning. Rooms are quite big, comfortable and dont have any complaint there. All rooms overlook the port. Wifi works as promised, staff (owner?!) is very helpful. If you have a car you can drive your luggage to the entrance, however car has...

Stayed here two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel as well as the beautiful Porto area. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The town seemed quiet at night however there are a wide variety of restaurant choices open very late. I think all the rooms have a balcony overlooking the harbor - ours did - and...

This hotel is very quiet, a little remote from the main street and has a great view to the harbor, the beach and the mountains. The owner is the most charming and welcoming person who makes you feel at home.

The hotel is located in the centre of the village. Especially the staff is very very nice and helpful ! ! Very good service, nice hints for parking and excursions. Good french breakfast! The rooms are new and clean and you can sleep very good due to brandnew windows although restaurants and bars are in the neighbourhood. We can really...

Firstly this area of Corsica is a must visit. The scenery is spectacular, the dramatic juxtaposition of sea and mountains is particularly beautiful. The colours of the rocks and sea are fab. You must hire a RIB to independently explore the coast and these are all just outside your window. The rooms have wonderful views over the little harbour which...

Had originally booked for three nights here but found on our arrival that the hotel did not have a restaurant, we had obviously overlooked this on their web-site. We stayed only one night. Our room was spacious and modern with a balcony overlooking the marina. The bathroom looked new and was well equipped. It would not really be suitable for...

Nice room with a delightful view of the harbour, good choice of breakfasts and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lift, but this seemed to be the case in many hotels in Corsica. There’s no lack of places to eat and sleep here, but if I return to Porto I will make this hotel my first choice. The beach at...

The location of La Calypso is hard to beat, overlooking the Porto Marina, which boast day trips to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Scandola Nature Reserve and offers easy access to some amazing hikes and drives along the west coast of Corsica. The rooms feature A/C, necessary in July when we were visiting, at least during the day. The...
