First time stay on a golf course and it was quite relaxing despite the very hot weather. Our room was one of the cheaper ones overlooking the course but was clean and pleasant, apart from the WC being oddly on the other side from the shower and washbasin. In late June it was quiet at night and no noise from the closed bar, but the hot weather had apparently encouraged the frogs to make a bit of noise at night if that bothers you. Reasonably-priced breakfast is very good woth fresh fruit on our second morning. Good value for money about 15 minutes walk into the centre of Salies, and 5-6 minutes walk to a Carrefour supermarket.

Easy to get to it, but pay attention to your GPS. Quiet countryside, clean, tidy, and with a golf course and golf store. The manager takes care of the golf course, the small café, and all the room in the premises. The place does not need air-conditioning, has enough country around to please a monk, and guarantees good rest. There are restaurants nearby but be aware they close at 8:30 p.m or 9:00 p.m.

We stayed at the Hotel Helios for one night whilst travelling in the south west of France. It is just outside Salies de Bearn, is easy to find off the main road and although there was no restaurant, there is the Hotel Golf Lodge nearby which provided a good dinner. The room was comfortable with a small bathroom. Free wi-fi was provided but we had to search around the room to find the electric sockets (and find one that worked). Breakfast was quite decent and the hosts were very helpful.

We stayed for one night on our way home from a long stay in Benidorm, we were contacted beforehand and offered a free upgrade to a room overlooking the golf course and it had a balcony. The staff were lovely and helped carry our case up to the room, it was a very nice ,comfortable very clean room and the view over the golf course was lovely, we had food with us so we sat out on the balcony to eat our meal, we were thrilled to bits to have found such a lovely place and would love to stay there again.

Very tidy, clean and inexpensive accommodation on the golf course. Beautiful, historic village a few minutes walk. Friendly host waited up for our late arrival, showed us our (tiny but immaculate) room. Breakfast delicious. Great spot if you like golf.... shame we couldn't stay for a round (or two). Highly recommended.
