The owners are not made for this job. There were using the swimming pool (apparently during the cleaning process), witch takes around 15hours per day... What a joke! I do build swimming pool and I never saw a cleaning process more than 8hours. Anyway they also pledged to my wife that she was about to steal there towels! They also...

Thieves. I made a set of reservations (big group with slightly different needs). They could accommodate 2 of the 4, and so cancelled them. Fair enough. The other two I justifiably cancelled, as now they could not accomodate us all. I reserved through booking.com, where it was very clear that cancelling is free up to a certain date (i'm booking...

This hotel has a great view, so the name is well chosen. The couple who owns it, obviously works hard to keep it all going. They run the whole Hotel-Restaurant by themselves! Although that is no excuse, that might explain the reviews here that indicate anger and irritation from staff/owner? It was a good place to stay, although it wasn’t...

This is a hotel to be avoided at all costs. We wondered why the hotel restaurant was empty on a Sunday lunchtime in high season and soon found out. My five year old son walked down the steps of the swimming pool with (clean) crocs on. The level of aggressive hostility this triggered from the owner – strutting, finger pointing,...

We, my wife and I and our two boys stayed at this hotel from the 9th to the 15th of August 2014. It was wonderful. The breakfast was a wonderful French experience. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. And although they struggled to speak English fluently, they tried their best to make themselves understandable. We will go back again!

We arrived late in the evening and received a very warm welcome. We were escorted to our room which was quite big with a huge en-suite with separate toilet. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet room. It is a small hotel just outside the village of Limeuil. The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and...

Rather uniquely we didn't even manage to eat or drink anything. Our intent was to drop in for a casual lunch to take in the view. It was a hot day in June and we indicated to the table in the shade where we wished to sit. My wife is over 6 months pregnant and the place was virtually empty....

We spent 5 nights at the hotel. Despite arriving 4 hours before check in time we were allowed to wait by the pool and got us some drinks. The couple that run the hotel are lovely - so so friendly and they couldn't do more to make us feel at home. The views from the restaurant patio are breathtaking and...

Stayed here for just one night on a family break. Loved the location, on an elevated site above the beautiful village of Limeuil. Fantastic view out over the countryside and the Dordogne escarpment. Walked the mile down to the village along the winding road. Large double room and bathroom, excellent value for the price charged. Would heartile recommend.

In terms of value for money this hotel is hard to beat. Fabulous position with spectacular views. Our room was comfortable and clean, not overly large but we have had far smaller at larger prices! The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast at €8 very good value - orange juice, fresh bread and croissants and a delicious fresh fromage...
