The hotel building seems old but the rooms are very simple yet stylish. Everything is carefully selected and very comfortable. I was at a business meeting and arrived very late at mid-night. The owner was very kind to open the door for me without screaming or complaining about it. I saw one of the huskies they have and is absolutely... More

The outside of the old hotel building is kept as is, its lovely , inside is all mod cons and at a very high level. car parking on site enough for all guests. All breads, cakes and jams are home made and the quality and quantity was vast, you could be very greedy here as the choice is so great.... More

I was looking for a place to stay to break up the trip back from St Anton to the UK. It wasn't *quite* sticking a pin in the map, but location was definitely the first concern. Couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. A lovely old building, with very nice rooms refurbished in a more (but not... More

Thannenkirch is off the beaten path, up above the Alsatian Route du Vin. Hotel is situated adjacent to a side road in town, off the main road. Room is a typically-sized European hotel room with modern furnishings. We had a queen size bed, a bit stiff but comfortable. I prefer mushy beds and this one was ok for me. There... More

We stayed in this small hotel with my wife on time of our car-trip through France. Location in small village on the top of hill was nice for us. (We visited my partner-wine producer in Ribeauvillé and it was short way to go). Very quiet, lovely neighbourhood. Family-business. NB! In wintertime I recommend have winter-tyres for car. It was snowing... More

Great experience! Cozy and welcoming B&B. Very clean, perfect shower. In my opinion, Thannenkirch is a perfect base to travel over Alsace. The village is quite and much cheaper then Riquewihr (20 mi away) or any other famous village.

The building is historic old and all rooms are newly renovated and nice. We had a family room with double bed and bunk bed for the kids in the same room. The breakfast buffet is small but very nice with freshly made croissants, home baked bread and home made jam in addition to the normal egg, yogurt, nice cheese etc.... More

Small amazing little hotel... Totally surprised. Very nice room, bathroom, separate toilett (as it is in France and w/o sink) Breakfast was very good - everything homemade.! No restaurant but the owner gave us lot's of alternative in this small, calm village. Will defintively come back

We stopped over for one night during our road trip. Its located in a small village with few restaurants around the corner. We got late in the evening but they waited for us which was very kind of them. Rooms are very well kept, spotless bathrooms. They guided us to the restaurants for dinner options. Would have appreciated a small... More
