Eight of us pre-booked this hotel as a group and were spaced out down one wing mostly quite the hotel is relatively modern and built out of local materials, so quirky? but blends in with the surrounding countryside, the grounds around the hotel contain a pool and enough room for children to play. The whole area around the hotel is worth...

This is a great location for Monfrague National Parque, it's on the very edge. The hotel is very clean, staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. The downside was it was so hot in the room, apparently the central air conditioning is switched off at the end of October, and the heating is switched on, which you have no...

I stayed here for five days as I was taking part in a workshop that was held in the hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to visit Monfragüe National Park as it provides easy access to the main attractions of the park. The hotel design is very attractive and impressive. the rooms are tidy...

We spent 2 nights at the hotel, in order to visit the National Park. The hotel appears to be designed to blend in with the surroundings, using local materials. There were few guests present, so it was very quiet. Our room was clean and well furnished, the walk in closet (mentioned in a previous review) did have a light but...

This is a relatively modern hotel with some 60 rooms. It is too large to work efficiently, especially if you are a guest who is not part of a group. When I booked I asked for a room in as quiet an area as possible, but ended up with a room just round the corner from the lift and top...

We have visited Monfrague several times before and each time said that the next time we would stay at the Hospederia! This time we did. A very modern styled hotel, lots of concrete and quirky features. We loved it. However, the building appeared to have problems as workmen and scaffolding were everywhere. Also water was entering through the window frames...

This was my second visit in two years and there has definitely been a decline in standards over this period. There appear to be major building works going on in the hotel grounds although there were no personnel around to man the cranes and the diggers. The views from the picture windows are spoilt by unkempt garden areas, an empty...

Running an hotel in this remote place clearly has its problems and this one seems to be a work in progress with various areas around the building still being built. The reception was fine, the rooms are modern and clean but the walls are made of cardboard which makes them very noisy. The only staff member who spoke any English...

We stayed here for 3 nights during Holy Week, and were very pleased with the service provided (according to us - we´ve already stayed in 6 of the 7 Hospederías de Extremadura - not the best hotel, but the treatment by the personnel largely compensates for the lack of an historical building, and the food served is good as well)....

There are limited places to stay around this area so you may to end up here but for me the hotel is a metaphor for the Spanish middles class in that its seen better days and is dying a slow death. Its in need of some serious renovations, the rooms have zero sound proofing, and the shower was terrible. It...
