Wow! A lovely holiday with stunning views and great service. We were really well looked after by the staff from Bloo Lagoon, with a great breakfast each day, good meals served in the restaurant, pool-side and to our villa, fabulous spa treatments and helpful reception staff, who arranged a driver/tour guide for us.
We loved the "indoor/outdoor" living, with our two bedrooms enclosed and open living areas (which were sheltered from any showers). The accommodation was comfortable and cleaned daily. We enjoyed seeing the birds, geckos and frogs, along with the stunning landscaping and beautiful flowers around the site - I didn't know I could spend so long just staring at the stunning scenery!
In answer to some of the questions visitors may have: - Drinking water is provided in your accommodation and refreshed when needed. It's a great idea to bring reusable water bottles - Separate towels for the villa and for the pool were provided - The kitchenette included a fridge, 2-ring gas hob, crockery and cutlery - The staff were incredibly helpful! Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really well looked-after - Even though it was full, the resort never felt busy or crowded. Quiet, laid-back and relaxing! - The pool and grounds are beautiful, clean and well-maintained. Plan in some time to relax in comfort! - We'd strongly recommend asking reception to book a driver/tour-guide. It was a great way to see the island and learn lots about Bali - and our driver was knowledgable and great on the busy Bali roads - We were a bit worried about insects beforehand but they really weren't a problem! There are mosquito nets around the beds and it's a good idea to cover-up and use insect repellent if you're outside at dawn and dusk. - You can walk to and swim from the beach at Bloo Lagoon, but it was easier to swim out and back in during the mornings, as the wind can pick up in the afternoons. Using the hotel's shuttle service and hiring a boat to take you out to the reef makes it more accessible.
A huge thank you to everyone at Bloo Lagoon for making us feel so welcome.

If you are a nature lover, this is THE place to to for you! You basically sleep in open air huts so you must be bug-ancious free but if you are you will LOVE it!
Amazing views, really tasty food at the restaurant and all of that at affordable prices. Yoga and high quality breakfast is included in the room rate. Also a free shuttle is available at anytime to get down to the city or to the blue Lagoon beach(because the place is on a very steep mountain) . Yoga class is by the way really good and starts at 7:30 which is an easy to do time for anybody I believe. Pool has a stone slide, lots of fun for kids. There are monkey here so you need to hide your food when in the room not to make them become as nasty as the monkeys in Ubud.
This place is so magical! Would definitely suggest to a friend and also revisit when next time in Bali.

6 days of relax and well being in that wonderful eco-village. Special award for all the staff who is welcoming and super attentive to make sure you feel comfortable. They provide good advices and are very efficient to help you planning your activities. The villa are clean, cosy and with fantastic views. We recommend bedrooms with aircon if you are not comfortable with the nighttime sounds (frogs, geckos … but they are friendly and won’t disturb you). The pool is beautiful with lot of flowers around. We had a pleasant surprise discovering an hidden slide and a small cave. Restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh made dishes, coming from the garden. View is amazing, 180 degrees on the sea. Although the service is quite slow due to the fact that each meal is prepared at the moment. However it is worth waiting!

We were so pampered! We slept very well and woke up to amazing views of the bay and mountains. Breakfast was a buffet with so many delicious choices - the scones were my favorite. Lunch and dinner was very pleasant with delicious food and views. There is a unique spiral staircase from the spa to restaurant. Our massage treatments were so relaxing. The snorkeling arranged by the resort was perfect! The shuttle driver handed us off to the snorkeling coordinator who directed us to the boat and captain. We saw an amazing amount of fish. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings made our stay one of the best of our Bali trip.

What an amazing stay we had. We didn’t quite know what to expect but thought we would stay here before we went over to the Gili Islands. We were so glad we did. We loved every moment of it. The Villa was just beautiful. Open air shower and outdoor living area with amazing views over Padang bai and Penida island. Just gorgeous. We did the cooking class which was fun and delicious. We also went with Made through his beautiful garden where everything is grown for the restaurant. He was so proud of his garden and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The restaurant has the most amazing views I have ever seen and the food was so great and affordable. We loved it. We are coming back to stay again this year and we can’t wait. Thank you to all the amazing staff. We also loved Bloo Lagoon beach which was beautiful. Just a couple of minutes walk from the resort.

Staying at the Bloo Lagoon was an extraordinary experience from the start. Staff were extremely kind, very helpful and maintained a high level of service to guests. The Eco Villas were unique, they were comfortable and the natural eco conscious construction of the Villas was really enjoyable in how well connected we were with nature- a true inside/outside flow. Everything was well thought out and even though the Villas were open, there was enough foliage and greenery to provide privacy. We were lucky enough to arrive before the place became busy and there was a peaceful, calm serenity throughout the resort. There is a wonderful and large pool to cool off in, with plenty of deck chairs and grassy areas to sit on, a restaurant with an amazing buffet breakfast as well as daily yoga classes and options of a Spa experience as well as other activities. We chose to go snorkeling and do a 1/2 day hike which took us through rice fields finishing in the traditional Bali Village of Tenganan. I loved staying here, the design and construction of this Eco Village is outstanding, the views were remarkable and the philosophy of caring for the environment and all this entails resonates with what is needed in our communities. I will definitely return.

The location is sensational. The views are incredible. The villas are an elegant Bali style open arrangement overlooking Padang Bai & the harbour. Water is crystal clear.
There is yoga to suit beginners -intermediate most mornings with a skilled instructor in a beautiful open air area with an amazing view.
The staff are mostly very friendly & attentive.
Villas are cleaned daily.
The pool is wonderful & the gardens are serene.
The breakfast is great with a good selection of hot food, fruit, pastries & accompaniments.
Beds are comfortable & lovely.
The meals in the restaurant were nice but I didn’t think they matched the calibre of the rest of the place & felt they were a bit on the high end for what we got. Likewise, the spa & therapists were good, with lovely organic products but thought not as good a standard as the rest of the place was overall.
I would definitely recommend it & stay again though.

Large villa with 2 double rooms, outdoor showers and open-air living/kitchen. Large terrace overlooking sea towards Nusa Penida. Ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Relaxing pool/slide area. Nice restaurant. Free shuttle bus to take you to and from Padang Bai village. Staff organised local snorkelling trip for us - small fishing boat out to 2 snorkelling sites where we swam with a turtle! Also did a Balinese cooking lesson in our Villa which was fun. Soup/sate/pancakes. No hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Stunning Villa resort, perfect stay on our tour around Bali before we hit Ubud! Peaceful, fresh, good food and simple but luxurious villa. The kids loved the pool and slide, we also took the free bus to the bottom of the hill/village centre where we hired a private boat to take us snorkelling around the blue lagoon! It was stunning - our girls loved it!

Hi. ekectric Plug is 220 volt. Size is two round cylindrical pins a bit fatter than the korean type. Adapters are easily found in padangbai. But if your machine is not dual voltage you will need a 220 to 110 step down AC transformer. You can find in Denpasar. Padangbai won't have it. Better to bring one.
There are more places to choose from in the Padangbai area.
