Candanchu is a small resort with only a few hotels. In the past I also stayed at Hotel Edelweiss which had bigger rooms but needed refurbishment. This hotel is very nicely decorated, the rooms are plenty big enough for a small family and they accept dogs. Best bit about the hotel is the staff. Every member from the reception to...

We visited the hotel for 3 nights in the summer. It is in a small skiing village, one kilometre from the French border, which was extremely quiet (some might say dead!) in the summer. A website I had looked at said that there were hiking trails - yes but quite difficult to find and follow - and working ski-lifts -...

We stayed here for one night when driving through the Pyrenees. The hotel is beautiful and looks like a typical ski lodge. Our room was big with twin beds and bunk beds with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good continental spread with everything you want. The only downside was no...

Best reception in many years, excellent facilities, large well furnished room with great views and very good and varied breakfast buffet. Only complain: having to climb stairs in full ski outfit up to the parking lot to pick the shuttle that links to the lift.

This was our 4th visit in summer which is actually low season so not very busy. August is busier and the restaurant opens for evening meals. There are other places to eat in village if required. Staff greet us like old friends. Rooms at front have great views. Good value. This hotel keeps its management and staff so is unlike...

The hotel locates in ski mountain resort, in the heart of Pyrenees, at summer you can go for mountain tour walking or travel to France or .Spanish nearby towns. Hotel has a very good and friendly stuff. The breakfast was poor, but the dinner was very well. The rooms are narrow and were not renovated many years, but clean.

A really enjoyable stay in Candanchu. The atmosphere in the hotel is friendly, family-type. The rooms are quite ok, breakfast as well. There are even places for some activities in side the hotel, like a ping-pong table and a room for kids to play or just to relax. There are lockers for skies in the ground floor. The rooms are...
