We originally planned to stay at the hotel for 3 days but instead stayed for 10. The food, the atmosphere and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, the hotel became our second home. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners; Antonio and Rosa. They are always happy to help and point you in the right direction should you...

[This is a review just of the restaurant]. Living in Riogordo, this is a local place for us and certainly we think the best of local restaurants; it is not 'haute cuisine' by any means, but serves good simple fairly rustic food. The value is exceptional - and no-one would go away hungry. The basic principle is a big piece...

We stayed here for a few days while in the area. Since there are not a lot of hotel options in Comenar, we booked this one. Although used to much higher standard hotels, the welcoming and accommodating attitude of Antonio, the owner made up for possible lack of comfort. The room was equipped with standard furniture, but a comfortable bed....

This hotel is not really a destination hotel more a transit hotel, that said its excellent. the rooms if you can select 1-6 have balcony's with views over the valley, other also have balcony's but don't have such a nice view. The Main road is quite busy but presented no problem with us as far as sleep we could not...

Stayed here recently for a couple of days. Despite arriving after midnight due to delayed flights and horrendous car hire collection (Firefly). The manager had stayed up to great us, and provided us with food and drink when requested. The next day gave us chance to see the spectacular scenery surrounding this hotel. Overall a great family run comfortable hotel....

Nice hotel/Restaurant 30minutes Drive from Málaga. We opted to come here as all hotels in Málaga were either too expensive or just not that likeable - coming here was an excellent choice. Nice rooms, good quality bathrooms and a staff that is second to none. You directly feel welcomed by the owner of the place who will do anything to...

Accommodation is excellant, modern, clean and comfortable, Antonio and Rosa the owners really look after you and nothing is too much trouble for them. Choice of breakfasts either indoors or outside in their refurbished patio area. The evenings entertainment on Saturday was a trio of musicians, Maica, Marina and Fernando. And what a joy they were, typically Spanish music performed...

I have reviewed this place in 2013, and this new review is simply to confirm that standards remain good. It is a well-positioned bar-restaurant (there are also rooms but we have not seen these) with an owner who puts a lot of thought and effort into keeping the place attractive. There are covered outdoor eating areas, one with a little...

We've driven past this remote rural hotel every year since it was built some 12 years back & never thought of stopping, which was a mistake. Returning yesterday from Sevilla it was in the right place at the right time for lunch & I'm delighted that we stopped. It's a tastefully designed building in a shallow valley, en route across...

We have visited several times since my first review, and found the place to be very consistent. The owner is welcoming, and has made a considerable effort to make his hotel/restaurant attractive, including a nice partly-covered outdoors eating area, and a little way off some slides and suchlike for the children. The food is consistently good quality and good value...
