My dad and I stayed at the Aran Lodge on our trip walking the Beara Breifne trail. The view from the lodge is gorgeous as is the property itself. Deirdre and her family went out of their way to make us comfortable and looked after. They have laundry as well as tea and coffee facilities and wonderful breakfast and cozy...

My wife and I are just home after 4 greats days exploring West Cork along with our 1 year old daughter. We stayed in Aran Lodge and we were delighted with everything. It's a great base for exploring Bantry, Glengarriff, Mizen Head, Sheeps Head, Beara Peninsula, Dursey Island, Garnish Island and even up into South Kerry. Deirdre and Joe were...

Most accommodating friendly B&B ever. They couldn't do enough for us. I.E dropped us into the wedding venue and offered to collect us in the middle of the night of stuck. 😳 Also was late checking out and obliged us by still giving us a full Irish breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aran Lodge. We were delayed in arriving and our welcome was very warm. We were greeted with tea and homemade scones and jam and fresh bread. A lovely touch. There is a great feeling of being part of the family and nothing was too much trouble, including an early, freshly sourced breakfast on our...

Stayed here on recent trip to West Cork. Myself and two friends shared the family room. Room was perfect, tidy and spacious with complementary tea coffee biscuits and water. Breakfast on both mornings was perfect with the hostess putting on a early breakfast on Saturday morning to suit our arrangements. Excellent value for money and would stay here again.

Deidre (and her family) were wonderful hosts during our brief stay here. There is plenty of parking on site. There is a good restaurant & pub (Ouvane Falls) just across the street from the B&B's driveway (a 2 minute walk from the B&B). There is a small store (Cronin's Centra) located about a half-mile to the west of the B&B...
