We normally prefer staying at smaller places, but we thought we would try the Dunboyne. It's very nice, but the sheer volume of people and things going on was more than what we prefer. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff were very good overall. I would return, but only as part of some larger event.

We stayed at dunboyne castle for a family wedding last weekend. I wasnt sure what to expect but now I can honestly say that its a great hotel. We were greeted warmly by staff and check in was very quick, the rooms are spacious and lovely. The service was excellent and the food fab. My partner is dairy and gluten...

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room and grounds very clean and in order, and the morning breakfast had a lot of variety. I did find that the the hotel seemed to be a bit understaffed in the dining area at breakfast as often there was no one to...

Very simple we class this hotel as our second home it has to be one of the very best in Ireland. If you visit Ireland you must put this hotel on your bucket list, and you won't be disappointed, from the moment you set foot into the foyer you'll realise you've made the right choice

I had a great stay at the hotel. Very helpful staff getting me taxis to the office and city centre. Well kept hotel and grounds. Went for a beautiful walk around the castle perimeter, and surrounding town. Very lovely time and glad I stayed here for a relaxing time rather than city centre.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in March. The thermal spa is fab. We spent most of our day in the thermal pool. Food was fantastic too. Bedroom comfortable and clean. Full TV channels and pleasant view from room too.

Stayed here the previous weekend and had a lovely time. Was given a room with a nice little balcony and very clean facilities. The reception staff were particularly pleasant and Fiona was very welcoming and helpful. In saying this one of the bar staff, a large man named Janos, was very rude and not efficient at all. We ordered food...

I stayed in Dunboyne Castle Hotel on a Monday night recently. Stayed in a single room at a very reasonable rate inc a lovely breakfast buffet. Bar is spacious with good service. I didn't get to use the spa but it did look very inviting! Slept well in a large comfortable room, with a lovely view over the gardens. Bathroom...

We stayed here for our first night in Ireland. Everyone was nice from the beginning and very accommodating. We checked in early and stayed around for some food and drinks. We liked everything we tried in regards to drinks, food, and desert. Although, we missed the breakfast, given the atmosphere, I'm sure it would have been lovely. The pool and...

The hotel/conference center is build around a small 'castle' that appears to be used only as administrative offices. The rooms are nicely appointed but not ornate. The dining room, like most of the structure is contemporary in design. The Irish breakfast buffet is a tasty variety of breakfast fare (don't try the scrambled eggs unless you like 'egg soup'.....too much...
