Detailed Reviews

We enjoyed this boutique hotel, located at the foot of the old town of Labin. We were there before tourist season kicked off as it was just opening. The staff were kind and attentive, the room was modern and luxuriously decorated and we had the fortune of having a breathtaking view over the valley toward the sea. The continental breakfast was simple, varied and filling enough to give us a good start to the day. We'd recommend staying in one of the eight rooms.

I can’t say enough about this boutique hotel! My husband and I stayed for the weekend to get a little r&r and explore old town Labin. The hotel is beautiful, super clean, and wait staff was very friendly and willing to help. The location is perfect, plenty of great restaurants surrounding the hotel, beautiful architecture, and just a 10 minute drive to the beach. They served a delicious breakfast in the morning which we got to enjoy on their private backyard terrace which has a beautiful view. We also enjoyed the live music they had playing in the evening on the outdoor loggia while drinking a delicious cocktail from their bar. My husband and I loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

The hotel is pretty cool! Very nice rooms , cleaning is 10, they are pet friendly so we could take our puppy with us. The staff are so kind. The seaview is fantastic from the room or from the terrace where you can have breakfast. We arrived after a long way very tired and we could do the check in before 12p.m. We can recommend this hotel if you want to have a wonderful stay close to a wonderful beach ( Giradella beach)

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my wife and couldn't be more satisfied. If you prefer smaller crowds and quiet surroundings this is the place to go. Hidden gem on the hilltop of town of Labin yet 5 min drive from Rabac and all its beaches. Quiet rooms and solid sleeps. Accommodating staff who are always ready to help.
Wake up and descent onto Loggia's terrace, sit back and enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Observe the old architecture whilst sipping on that perfect macchiato and blend in with the locals. What more to say than we are eager to come back. :)

Must visit bar if you are just stopping by for a rest or staying in Labin. Grab a bite from a nearby restaurant and enjoy the selection of cocktails on the Labin's town square. We enjoyed Hugo, Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Passion (something) cocktails.

La Loggia is located in the heart of old Labin, right on the main square. It’s very simple to locate and the location is unbeatable.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, but it’s just across two great places to eat: Pizzeria Napoli and the Vela Vrata restaurant, so there’s something for everyone’s taste.
Despite the fact that the hotel listing says the hotel has parking, it has none. It’s off-season at the moment (we were literally the only people in the hotel), we arrived around 4 PM on a Sunday and there was still no parking anywhere in the vicinity. We had no problem walking 250m and parking on a steep hill, but depending on your age and/or mobility issues, this might be a problem, especially in season when available parking might be even harder to find.
The room was small, but pleasantly designed, extremely clean and it featured a nice, comfortable bed. There’s satellite TV with a myriad of channels and, of course, free Wi-Fi.
The bar is well-stocked and has a surprisingly good list of whiskey, cognac, wine, etc. The problem is that the staff has no idea if they have something or what it is really, but at least there’s plenty to choose from.
The listing for the hotel promises a breakfast buffet, but what we were offered was extremely modest at best, definitely not even close to a 4* breakfast. An Ibis Budget has a better breakfast. There was absolutely nothing warm to eat, there was no milk at all, and there was even no plain yoghurt - I asked. All in all, a bit disappinting.
Beware of having a room overlooking the old town square or the street that goes alongside the hotel. It features a remotely operated traffic cone that people use to enter this part of town. It produces a loud beeping noise every time it’s used, and it’s used all the time, day and night. We could hear it faintly even though we were staying on the opposite side of the building.
The staff at La Loggia is very polite and you feel truly welcome, it’s a genuinely nice place to stay. Given such a warm reception, one can forgive a lot and I can honestly say I’d stay here again.

We jumped in for a coffee and we found a very great designed place with friendly staff. Great offer of drinks, nice coffee, nice and clean restroom. Whisky was served in a professional way too. Place to come back :)

Behind old stoney pilars overlooking the square is La Loggia. Interiors is something you rarely find, designed with utter taste in art. We had wine with prosciuto and cheese platter. Seasoned with truffles olive oil. A wonderful experience we never expected!
