I booked in here even though it had bad reviews. I lived in that area for a few weeks and I was going down memory so I thought one night is bearable. It looked good. The gardens were well kept. I was tired but admired the building. A male member of staff watched me struggle up steps with 2 suitcases.... More

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. Save yourself from the horrible and traumatic experience that I and many other guests have had. This hotel not only disrespects but LOATHES its guests. I had a booking for one night for a business trip. I was not informed of the check-in time so I called reception at a reasonable time in the evening... More

Booked to stay for sons graduation. Unfortunately didn't read trip advisor ratings first. Absolute awfull. Dirty, un-clean, smelly, bathroom was a disgrace , bed was hard, run down, the list is endless. It needs to be down graded as not 3 *. Some might say you pay for what you get however feel a more honest grading would make people... More

Stayed two nights unfortunately, very outdated not very clean, rude Manager, quite noisy doors banging etc. bed not made properly, bin not emptied. At 55 pounds per night I didn't think I got what I paid for. I would definitely never stay here again.terr

The room smelt horrendous, like someone had died on a toilet. Having the window and door open all day, did nothing to improve the stench. It was pretty scruffy and poorly maintained; some lights and shower fittings broken, etc. Breakfast was OK. Good location for Headingley Stadium and about 3 miles from Leeds City center.

Went up for my daughters uni exhibition. Wasn't after anything fancy and aware that you pay for what you get. But what I got for the amount I paid meant I was massively overcharged. Bed room was grubby and all I could smell was the overwhelming stench of febreeze that was clearly used in bucket loads to disguise the stale... More
