A last minute/spur of the moment opportunity to spend a rare night away from our west coast home and our now more or less grown up children found my wife and I checking-in to a standard double/en-suite room at the Navisdale Hotel, and boy did we strike lucky! The hotel itself is quite an old building with lots of character....

The view from the Car Park is worth every penny spent on staying at the Navidale. we were there for two nights in January and looked after admirably by Larry and the team. We were on a B & B basis and I had a wonderful viw of the sea from my room. Breakfast was great, loved the Black Pudding.

At first I regretted booking a hotel out of town, but what a wonderful hotel, beautifully decorated and friendly hosts. The hosts were very attentive, a lovely little bar with a good selection of whisky. The breakfast was more than sufficient with good quality food.

Nice location, lovely views, we booked a standard twin but got the deluxes twin, it was really nice and comfortable, but bath instead of shower to be fair we didn't state we required shower, our daughter had the standard twin with shower so we could have swapped as nothing seemed to be to much bother for the owner. We had...

We only stayed for one night on our nc500. The location is really lovely and the hotel is full of character. A very warm welcome on arrival, followed by a great meal, a log fire in the bar and a fabulous room for the night. The only downside is the very limited menu. There was only one meal option. But...

We used this hotel as a base for fly fishing in this area. It is well located and has excellent views of the water, so book a room with a water view. The rooms are comfortable, but a bit on the smaller side and a touch tired. The surprise for me was the high quality of the food. Dinner was...

Stayed for one night as a group of 4 "bikers" on a trip round the North of Scotland. The hotel was very comfortable with decent rooms and excellent food. Dinner was a fixed menu so not sure if alternatives were available but that did not worry our party. Common areas were nicely furnished and the bar had a broad range...

Stayed at the Navidale House Hotel as an overnight stop as my husband cycled Lands End to John O'Groats. The male host made us feel welcome, helping me carry all my things to the room (my 18-month-old son was with me and making it a bit difficult) and asking about our journey. We were asked if we wanted dinner, we...

We just left this lovely family run hotel and were very pleased with the value it provided us with. The 4 post beds were comfortable, the rooms had great sea views, the owner Larry was great, the breakfast was tasty, and it had a very querky decoration scheme to make it unique. I would recommend staying here if you are...
