Party of 11 stayed for the weekend of my wife's neice's wedding. Beautiful peaceful location that was a very convenient 10 minute drive from the wedding at Folly Farm. Breakfast was excellent on both mornings and dinner on the Friday night was also very good. All staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. Rooms very nice &... More

We went with friends for Sunday lunch. Excellent choice menu with a selection of roasts. Good size portions with four or five vegetables. We had no room for pudding but they looked good. We have visited before as part of a group for a birthday party with about fifty guests. Lots of parking. Best to bring a sat navy if... More

Went for supper to this delightful venue. Excellent views of the Somerset countryside with its own lake. Staff were exceedingly friendly and welcoming and really put themselves out. Food was good quality and well cooked - most delicious. Highly recommended

Though I have never stayed at this hotel overnight as I live locally, I have eaten in the restaurant on previous occasions and can recommend it. On the occasion I am reviewing we had booked a reception/wake following a funeral. The owner, ( I'm sorry but her name has slipped from my memory), was extremely sympathetic and helpful when we... Stayed here with my 9 year old son when we visited the balloon fiesta and Bristol zoo. Originally there was just the 2 of us then my partner and his son decided to join us. We had a twin room and when I tried to book another twin or a family room I was told there was only the luxury... More

I booked the whole hotel as a 2 night family celebration for my 50th birthday, and I could not have been more impressed and happy with the entire event. John, Paula and Victor could not have done anymore than they did, making the whole experience wonderful. We had stayed before and were impressed so decided that this would be the... More

This is the second stay at Cameley Lodge; this time for a dear friend's milestone birthday. John, Paula and the wonderful Victor ensured that the whole party (fifteen of us) had a fun and memorable time. Set in countryside at the edge of a small village and abutting a trout lake, surrounded by sheep - this is a charming Lodge.... More
