We changed our timeshare week 4 through Dial an Exchange for a week in late August and had Pine Marten 5, a similar lodge but on the waterfront overlooking the Loch, with french windows in the master bedroom. A superb week's stay with wonderful sunny weather (!) and opportunities to explore again the wonderful surroundings, such as Rannoch Station. Well...

Thank you for your review, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and the sun came out for you! As you probably know we have tried to come to an agreement on the subject of gym and pool usage, but none the less I urge you to try the pool at Tummel next visit as we have heard...

I have been visiting Loch Rannoch since 2006 and now own a one week timeshare. If you are looking for a magical place with simply stunning views in any weather, a place to simply get away from it all and re-charge, then this is it. It is very green, peaceful and calm, and the view over the loch in places...

Visiting again this year has seen big changes. Some of the accommodation was in need of a lick of paint, but always of high quality. On arrival we noticed how most of the resort had now been painted and was gleaming, we stayed in Otter 6, with a wonderful view of the loch, as always. The apartment had been completely...

We visit Loch Rannoch Highland Club every year at this time. This year, we were accompanied by the whole family - a total of seven and one on the way! Our lodge sleeps eight and there is ample room for everyone to chill out in the huge lounge and gigantic first floor conservatory, with 180 degree views over the loch....

The drive to the lodge gave is an idea of the view we should expect, we weren't disappointed when we arrived, simply stunning! We stayed at a lodge very close to the loch itself, very clean and well equipped. Parking available and very close to the cottage, just over a quiet road.

Luxury timeshare well equipped, very clean apartments (with friendly happy staff) situated in beautiful scenery. Weather is always "Scottish" - can be many seasons in one day and sometimes the dreaded midgie can make an appearance but that's not stopped us coming here for great family holidays for over ten years. Lots of events you can go to if wished...

Thank you for this review, we are so pleased to hear you enjoy your time here with us, all of the activities and scenic walks we have to offer. If you haven't already, we suggest you try the swimming pool at Tummel, whom which we hear are incredibly friendly and reasonably priced. All the best and we look forward to...

The quality of the accommodation is very high. Fully equipped kitchen with good quality appliances. Rannoch is a little remote so walking in the hills is just about the only thing to do locally but there are some nice villages within 20 miles. Wifi is free but very limited, 8mb between 30+ apartments! We did get 3G with EE and...

Thank you for this review, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your time with us and took advantage of the scenic walks and nearby towns. We continue to look to resolve the issue with our temperamental wifi and hope to have it upgraded ASAP. We hope to see you again in the future. Many thanks, E.Ferguson

Managed to exchange into Lochside 2 - right on the loch side so a great view, and not able to hear the neighbours. The unit is a bit "tired" (but refurbishment is imminent so that will be sorted shortly) and well equipped from our long experience of timeshare holidays. We will be back if we can.

Huge appartment, living area upstairs bedrooms down. Well equiped, some of the furnishings need an update,( chairs with split arms) Because the buildings are into the hillside they can smell a bit damp downstairs but opening windows fixed that. Unit was clean enough, quality of bedding and towles could be improved. There was NO hairdryer, found that strange. Over all...

This place is fantastic and the views of Loch Rannoch are absolutely stunning. The apartment (Otter 4) has 35 steps but it's a doddle if you are reasonable fit. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Loch Rannoch Highland Club is a Timeshare Holiday complex of 85 properties in the picturesque village of Kinloch Rannoch, in Perthshire, Scotland. Our apartments and Lodges can accommodate between 4 and 8 guests. The properties are available to rent, and a few are available for resale, at very competitive prices. The Highland Club is on the banks of Loch Rannoch, a beautiful loch surrounded by walks and scenic locations. The wild Rannoch Moor stretches to the west, and the Tay Forest Park lies along its southern short. The loch, and the Highland Club are presided over by the majestic Schiehallion, or Sidh Chailleann in Gaelic (Fairy Hill of the Caledonians). This Munro is one of the best known in Scotland, and offers breathtaking views and walks.Nestled on the shores of Loch Rannoch, the Loch Secluded and tranquil, as the early morning mists rise slowly from the Loch it is easy to surmise how JM Barrie was inspired to write Peter Pan during his visits to Loch Rannoch area. The imagination can envisage through the mists the bow wave from Hook's ship as it slowly moves towards its Anchorage. The clubs' set activities include; - "the clan night" where two of our tame and (usually) pacified Highlanders give an extremely interesting talk on local history, the clan system, highland dress, and weaponry. The club organised guided walks are set at a pace that everybody can enjoy. Why not spend an evening showing off your intellectual skills at the club quiz night? A water colour masterclass is also provided by the club with a guarantee that every participant will leave with a painting. Of course, no visit to Scotland would be complete without participating in a whisky tasting class. The clubs set activities are included in the price of your accommodation.Providing comfortable self catering accommodation in a breath-taking setting, with fabulous views over Loch Rannoch each unit is comprehensively fitted out with everything you could require making this your home from home in the Highlands. From Rannoch Station you can catch the train to Fort William and then carry on to Mallaig, either by ScotRail or by the world famous Jacobean steam railway following the renowned route used by this steam locomotive in the Harry Potter films.By road Pitlochry, Perth, Aberfeldy, Aviemore and Inverness are easily within day visit radius.Wi-Fi facilities are provided free on-site. ... more   less
