We only got to stay here one night in late April, 2017 but it is one night we will never forget. We wanted to splurge to have one night in a castle before leaving Scotland. Dalhousie Castle did not disappoint! Had we known, we would have arrived earlier and stayed later. We opted for one of the two medieval themed...

The hotel is nice and comfortable, clean and the breakfast was great. The communication beforehand when I had to change a reservation was less than stellar. I had to email four times before getting a response for room cancellation. It's about a 25 minute drive from Edinburgh city center. Not sure if it's common, but during my one night stay,...

we were encouraged to explore any room not locked, and we did. clear down to the wine cellar. we decided to dine here also with good food, the prices were not high.. We were told several ghost stories and my friends expounded on that, sure they heard strange sounds. the rooms were nice and we all had poster beds. We...

We recently stayed 4 nights at Dalhousie Castle and held our wedding there on May 3rd. Overall, I can't imagine a better experience. Our wedding day was perfect; the staff at Dalhousie went above and beyond to make us happy and for the day to run smoothly. I worked with Ailie during the planning process and found her to be...

We absolutely loved our stay at Dalhousie including the grounds, the dinner and the nights sleep. Staff overall were super friendly and accommodating. Dinner in the dungeon was delicious and though a little pricey, the martinis were delicious. The price for dinner, accommodations, access to the spa area, and breakfast was very reasonable by my standards (compared to some other...

The castle itself is fantastic, I would encourage anyone visiting to take a walk around the grounds as it allows you to look at the castle and appreciate it. For part of our honeymoon we stayed in one of the castle suites which was amazing, it even had a well as a feature in the bedroom. Breakfast and afternoon tea...

The castle itself is really cool and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was good sized, a tad dated, but that's ok. The problem for us was that there was a wedding taking place during our stay, and the hotel clearly did not have enough help on hand to manage both the wedding and the comforts of the other paying...

This was a wonderful and great experience. We loved exploring the castle grounds, breakfast was great, and comfortable bed and large room. It had a very unique atmosphere. Room service was very quick and delicious. I would recommend staying here!

Great venue. Absolutely cute castle... I would love to stay overnight or have a family occasion there. There is a conservatory, a patio, a castle hall and a library where you can have a drink or some food. The quality of the afternoon tea was good.

Overall we had a lovely overnight stay taking advantage of an offer from the hotel. The castle is set in beautiful grounds and our room was pleasant, the TV worked and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of fresh towels were available and Molton Brown toiletries in the modern bathroom. The food was also plentiful and very tasty The breakfast -...
