Went for a pint of beer in the restaurant with view to ordering a meal. Nice restaurant, friendly staff and so I ordered my meal. The chicken chilli challenge. The heat was intense and I loved it. I completed this challenge but be aware why it is called the chilli challenge. The chilli sauce is as hot as I have...

Excellent stay and friendly family orientated place. Not too expensive reasonably priced. If breakfast was included it would make the stay even better. The location is beautiful and very historic lots to do and see.

What a pity this interesting building in this historically important village has been allowed to fall into such a poor state of repair. The accommodation is in need of refurbishment and redecoration. I would describe the B&B provided during my recent stay as adequate. It could and should have been so much better.

We stayed for one night only, and wouldn't have minded staying longer. It was a bitterly cold day in January, but the hotel and our room was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room, like the hotel itself, was a little old-fashioned and "lived in" but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There were...

Really don't know why people are so critical about the service, 32 people attended my grand daughters 18th birthday party. That's 32 individual meals served so that we were all eating at the same time. Not bad going for a small kitchen Quality of the meal, well I chose the 10 oz rib eye steak, I've got to admit that...

The very good: loved the old English pub style feel. If you want modern, 5 star luxury, book that kind of hotel. Rooms were big, very warm and beds were comfortable and the whole style took me back to my youth. Ate in the restaurant and thought the food was wonderful. Staff at check out and in the restaurant were...
