This pub is a flaming grills pub so is amazing at steak and big portions. The food was delicious, fresh and hot and sizzled on its skillet. The staff were great, there was a new guy called James on the till and he was really polite and did a good job. A meal for 5 came to under £40 and... More

I picked the Bridge Inn as an alternative to the travel lodge. The building is beautiful but very tired in places and there was no one on reception when I arrived and had to hunt for a staff member. I must say the staff were lovely and very helpful, so full marks for them. The room smelt very strongly of... More

Our meal took a while to come, and this wasn't a problem as we knew it was being freshly cooked. Our party had scampi, fish and corn dogs. I had the vegetable burrito with fries. All the meals were pronounced excellent and good value for money. Couldn't eat all mine so it was packaged up in foil for me. Excellent.... More

Booked three nights here whilst visiting family nearby. Thought it would be a change from Travelodge and I was right but for the wrong reasons. I expected more traditional and perhaps dated accommodation but was disappointed with the lack of maintenance and upkeep. There were holes in the wall where a tv wall bracket had been replaced. In the bathroom... More

The Bridge is a Victorian hotel built in the village of Port Sunlight. Being of that age and having had a few remodels in it's time the rooms may have lost some of their original charm. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and modern big TV. But the decore is looking a bit tired. Pity the showers were not working,... More

Not been to the Bridge for over a year now, so we thought it was time for a return. The Bridge is a beautiful old hotel and pub/restaurant, unfortunately it looks like it needs some money spending on it, a bit tired now. But don't let that put you off, the welcome and service from the staff is brilliant. The... More

Arrived yesterday afternoon to check in and had to wait 10 mins before the receptionist turned up and then was told no showers in the rooms as they were currently being upgraded. Then found that my door lock (Room 10) was broken !! So the nice reception lady significantly reduced my room bill. Room was ok size, clean and pleasant,... More
