Stayed whilst on a fishing holiday. Stuart and Joanne made you feel welcome and were very helpful despite the odd hours we kept because of fishing. Rooms were clean with plenty of storage. Plenty of parking space. Breakfasts were well cooked and substantial. North Lodge is situated in a very pleasant location. I would be happy to recommend it to...

We stayed here for two nights in order to be close to Langholm Common Riding. The venue was ideal for this and many other locations in the surrounding area. Our hosts Stuart and Joanne were really welcoming. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well furnished. Joanne served our party of six with tea or coffee on arrival and even left...

Had a 3 night break in the cabin, just wanted to relax and get away from work for a change and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. Greeted on arrival and was spoilt with some delicious biscuits too!! The weather was dreadful but that didn't spoil a thing, the cabin was clean, warm and very comfortable. The hot...

Myself and my girlfriend had a few nights here last week. Apart from some clay pigeon shooting we had no other plans other than to relax. We stayed for 5 nights in the cabin and left feeling refreshed and reenergerised. Stuart met us immediately upon arrival and was very friendly and full of useful information about the surrounding area and things to do. The cabin itself was very cosy and of course the hot tub on the outside decking was amazing. The shower was very warm...

The power shower was a pleasure. The view from the bedroom window overlooks hills and their mini lake. My en suite bedroom came with a Kingfisher and Roe deer. The...

Lovely B&B just a short walk from the river. A very friendly B&B and made me feel at home. I stayed at the last minute when I fancied some fishing and although I didn't take a catch home it was made up for the lovely stay I had. My room was really comfotable and although a single I was surprised...
