I took my parents to Devon for the Dartmouth Regatta, and having been before tempted them in to The Weary Ploughman for a lovely restful meal. The food was lovely however bearing in mind we were the some of the first customers of the evening service was slow,, and our sweet order forgotten completely. However, it is a lovely bright... Have visited the Weary Ploughman on numerous occasions as we live close by. The staff are always very professional, and the food is always very good (great gourmet burgers and stone baked pizzas, fabulous fish and chips, wonderful Sunday roasts). I would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Friendly, professional staff to greet you. The drinks order came really quickly. The food we ordered came out really quickly. The food tastes was really nice and fresh. We had had three courses and each one was delicious. We didn't feel like we had be rushed. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere.

We booked this at last minute due to a trip to view a property in Brixham. Hospitality was good - very helpful. Position was convenient. Breakfast was lovely. The only let down was the actually rooms themselves - these were outdated and tired, in need of modernisation and some TLC.
