We've stayed in a few lovely country pubs so we were excited to stay here with our 3 year old daughter. Check in was fine, nice location and parking available. Only Luxury rooms left available so paid £165. Room 18 was quite large with roll top bath & a little camp bed already set up. Everything was ok but looked...

Dear Flossykate, It is always disappointing for us to read that any guest has left the hotel disheartened with any aspect of their stay. The Olde Bell was easy to find and had plenty of parking across the road from the main building. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we discovered that the door to our allocated room didn't lock they swiftly found a replacement room for us. Our room was cosy and had the usual hotel room paraphernalia; TV, tea and...

We popped in here with our dog for lunch which is something we have done before. The bar, with it's beautiful stone floor, ancient beams and two log fires has always been a very pleasant place to stop whilst walking locally, and hospitality as usual was extended to our dog who was allowed in with us and offered dog biscuits...

We spent one night at The Old Bell Inn, earlier this month. We arrived to find plenty of parking spaces in the Barn car park opposite, which was very handy. The hotel itself is separated into several buildings, with some being in the older part and some newer rooms. We stayed in Room 17, upstairs in The Malt House. Our...

We got an amazing last minute deal here but on arrival found we were banished to the annex of the annex. A converted bungalow in the back corner of the car park. It smelt damp and poor quality in the entrance foyer but the room wasn't too bad considering the price we paid. Sadly the tv didn't work and with...

I organised a team building day in the tithe barn with lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The barn was lovely. The ability to separate it into 3 parts was helpful to the way we planned the day.
