We arrived and had a broken toilet so we had to repack and move rooms. For the inconvience they gave us free drinks for the night. Good food with a large selection buffet and helpful, if slightly over enthusiastic, staff,! beautiful views from the room too. Great area for skiing too.

Certainly not a 4 star hotel, but quite nice nontheless. I thought the food was very good, lots of variety and different themes through the week, like seafood, mexican and fine dining. The entertainment was very cabaret but good family fun. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and had our first full day of snowboarding on Monday. I kept most of...

We stayed for a week and enjoyed ourselves. Half-board breakfast and dinner were excellent with a very good section from the buffet spread. The bars were well stocked and the staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were ok, they were a little dated and quite small (we were snowbarders - lots of stuff with us) but how much time...

We have just spent a week in this old fashioned hotel – it may have been awarded the 4 stars back in the 70s, but maintaining this décor doesn’t necessarily mean it should remain a 4 star hotel. The rooms smell like previous guests have smoked in the room before, even after we air the room out, it still smells...

My partner and I are just home from our first ski holiday and St Gothard was recommended by our travel agent as a good hotel for first time skiing. The skiing and apres-ski activities provided by Neilson (who we booked with) were fantastic and we really really enjoyed ourselves. However the hotel was slightly disappointing for a couple of reasons....

We recently stayed at The St.Gothards and it was great. It was spotless and all staff we so friendly. It has been updated in areas but is a little old in others but not in a bad way. Some people said it was too hot in the rooms but there were thermostats in the rooms !?? The food was excellent...

Nice place and great Skiing....but.... Don't listen to some reviews about having a room overlooking the river.. My advice.. Get a room over the road..cars make noise,,,but after about ten in the evening, the cars are gone...however... The back of the hotel has a river...this is always flowing....it never stops,,, and kept me awake ALL night...terrible sleep. Other than that...good...

Stayed here over New Year and was very impressed. The hotel staff made such an effort. The food here is fabulous and although the rooms are a bit basic they are very very clean. Don't know if we would ski again in this region as you are very limited. Arcalis and Pal do have more to offer. We queried the...
