It's a bit tough to get there but it is worth the bumpy ride. Get good directions if driving, expect the trip to take longer than anticipated. Greatt pool and grounds, great views, staff is friendly with a nice bar and restaurant.

I have stayed all over the world and have never seen a resort hotel at this price with so much to offer. The veiws of Arenal volcano and Lake Arenal from your room, the pool and the dinning room were fabulous The service was suberb and every employee had a smile on their faces and went over and above what...

In Feb. 2011 my family of 4 including 2 teenagers stayed in a junior suite facing the volcano. We also had a lake view. The room had a computer with internet. It also was spotless, the food at the restaurant was exceptional, the staff was more helpful than I ever wished for! Brian at the front desk arranged for a...

Very clean and well run lodging. Breakfast was very good and over all service was excellent and courteous. It is a bit of a dusty drive to the restaurants of La Fortuna but the hotel restaurant also serves excellent lunch and dinner. When we booked we were told "room with no view" which was disappointing. However, we discovered all rooms...

I had stayed in the Arenal area twice before and only ended up at Linda Vista this time because my previous hotels were fully booked. This was certainly the most luxurious hotel I have stayed in, in Arenal. I spent two nights in a room facing the volcano and two nights in a room facing the lake. Both rooms were...

I travel to Costa Rica each year with a group of 14 college students on an ecological field study tour. Linda Vista is my hotel of choice in the Arenal region. The rooms are clean and all have a great view of the volcano - best in the area because the view is from the northwest (barren) side. The meals...

This place is really cool! It's a bit off the beaten path (accessed by dirt road), but definitely worth it. We only stayed one night andreally enjoyed it. Would have stayed another night if we could. Our room (standard room) had a nice view of the volcano. The pool area is more than you would expect with a nice jacuzzi....

We drove in and booked for three nights then left after just one. Had a std room with great volcano view (#8) but the mattress was so bad it should have been thrown out years ago. The towel rack by the sink was broken off the bracket as was the paper holder in the bathroom. The lighting was very poor,...

Nothing more annoying than checking out and finding out that we owed an extra $25. We would have been happy to pay that charge up front but to have it at the end shows horrible management. Also the cleanliness of the hotel and our room was very sub-par. When we go back next time, we will be going to another...

Stayed here for two nights, and enjoyed my stay. Pros - Secluded and very quiet. Great views of the volcano and lake. Nice pool and restaurant. Very clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons - Seclusions means this is a ways off the beaten path, it takes some time to get to and from La Fortuna.
