Stunning resort, steps from Sepilok rehabilitation center. There are 17 private cottages in the resort, very private. Each cottage has a nice queen- king bed, TV, open concept 2 sink bathroom, huge shower. You can hear only birds during day and some other creatures at night. Beautiful landscape, surrounded by water. Food in the restaurant was fresh, well presented and...

It's walking distance to the Sepilok Orang Utan rehabilitation centre, rainforest discovery centre and the Sun Bear Conservation centre. The whole resort is so soothing and relaxing. You can take a nice 1-2 hour walk around the resort. The room is clean and comfy. There's a restaurant that serves decent food too. Overall, enjoyed my stay here.

Sepilok Nature Resort was so exceptionally good that it almost made the two adjacent rehabilitation centres secondary to my visit. Clean comfortable well equipped chalets with a private hammock balcony set around a lake and tropical gardens. A very terrace good restaurant and bar in the main lodge. Particularly obliging staff. 5 star service and ambience at 3 star prices....

If you are in Sandakan for the wildlife, this should be your 'base of operations'! There is really no point staying in sandakan city, there is very very little to do there that is remotely interesting - and considering all the great wildlife at your doorstep in Sepilok why go anywhere else! We had 2 days in the city and...

We absolutely loved this hotel. We began our honeymoon (en route to Bali) with two nights at SNR. Upon arrival at airport, we were met by Sonny, a member of the staff and guide. He helped me find an ATM in the airport, took care of our bags, and even helped rush us to the resort so we could see...

This was our first night in Borneo and I was really pleased the lodge was so good. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The little lake had lots of birdlife which we could watch whilst having breakfast. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Overall the resort is gorgeous. Situated only 5 mins walk from the main attractions in Sepilok with the lobby and restaurant set in front of a beautiful little lake. The chalets are mainly around the lake and blend into the environment. As they had no more room in these chalets, we did not stay in those chalet but on the...

One of the friendliest hotel we've stayed at during our Malaysia trip. People are very nice and help at every step. Everyone was especially nice to our children. Location is fantastic. Short walk to the sanctuaries and not too far from the Rain Forest Discovery Center. We traveled as a family with two little kids (5 and 3) and were...

We booked this resort after cancelling Sepilok Jungle Resort. Our booking was made directly with the resort prior to our travelling. This resort is more upmarket but not much more expensive than others in town. The restaurant is the best, and the staff was amazing and it is next door to Sepilok Orangulan Centre. The resort is well designed, our...
