My wife and I stopped off for a lunchtime drink and sat in the garden. The two bulldogs came to investigate our very placid and good natured dog, surrounded him and started to attack him without provocation. I had to fend off both dogs whilst dragging my dog to safety out of the gate and into the car park. It...

If you like white food then this pub will be great for you but order a large drink to help you wash it down. I am not sure is they know what makes a plate look appealing or what constitutes a tasty meal. No atmosphere and staff not trained in the art of customer care. Sad to see another Pub,...

Thought we’d try the Cashmoor, as it’s changed hands. It couldn’t be as bad as last time under the previous ownership - we thought. Or could it? This pub is as disappointing as it always was. A group of friends met there for lunch. When our orders came, we all commented on how unappetising the food looked. It was dry,...

Stopped off for a night. Very reasonable prices, comfortable room, new owners ( since Dec 2016) no longer an Italian restaurant. Locals were chatty, many hadn't been for months and were loving the happy hour & " burger & pint " special on a Tuesday night. We had great steaks with chips for evening meal. Good standard pub grub on...

We stopped here to break up a journey hoping for some lunch even though it was only 11.45. The Cashmoor Inn was so welcoming that they opened 15 mins early for us and made the most delicious paninis for lunch with a very welcome coffee. We enjoyed the food so much that on our return journey 2 days later we...

When we arrived, I noted how pretty it looked – a nice little country pub. I’d only looked at the menu on their website a few days before so was surprised to be told when we entered that it had changed and they were now an Italian restaurant! I wasn’t sure what to expect and while I’d gone in wanting...

The atmosphere upon entry is friendly and a warm welcome from the hosts. Faultless room, good size en-suite. Nice bar, good prices and a small but good selection menu at fair prices. Good 'hot toddy' for man flu! Far from typical, very homely and a pleasant stay. Great breakfast too.

Lovely room, large en suite. Plenty of teas and coffee sachets in the room, plus biscuits. Very friendly, helpful hosts. Delicious evening meal and breakfast. Excellent value. Amble parking. Would definitely return.

Went to the cashmoor inn on Friday night and decided we would eat while we were there. As I like a good steak when I go out for a meal I decided to have the ribeye which was cooked just how I wanted it which recently has been extremely hard to get as no where seems to be able to...

Stayed for New Year, one night. The new management made us feel very welcome and we slept well. Nice room, tea and coffee facilities in the room with colour TV, well presented and a good morning breakfast! Would return again if in the area.
