This is a delightful combination of English tradition and French hospitality. The manor has retained all its authentic features, but the guest rooms are very comfortable and nicely furnished and decorated. Although close to a busy road, we did not experience any noise from outside and slept very well. We enjoyed a superb dinner and breakfast, with an excellent, but...

What a lovely little haven! Great food, comfortable room and excellent value for money. We used this as a stop over when visiting family and our young son slept in his travel cot in our room which was large enough to accommodate us all. The evening meal was beautiful and breakfast equally as good. Very rare to find a place...

Rollestone Manor is beautiful family run B&B with a personal touch. The rooms are all individual reflecting the history of this old but sympathetically restored manor house being well equipped and decorated; Angela loved the roll topped bath in the Cardigan Room. We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights, the quality of the food was varied and superb; the...

Well we struck lucky with this one. We just needed a place to stop for a few nights whilst visiting Stonehenge, Avebury and Salisbury in summer 2015. We couldn't have chosen better. The hotel is beautiful, full of history and character. Only a few miles down one road from Stonehenge it is perfectly placed. Nice quiet grounds, fabulous rooms. I...

A relaxing overnight break to make use of our new English Heritage cards. The new version of Stonehenge was a slight disappointment - no coach loads of squabbling school children when I used to run up from the main road in the 1950's to play hide and seek on the obligatory picnic stop for holidays from the West Country. However...

As quirky as you'd expect for a historic Manor House. Friendly and helpful staff. Good tasty breakfast. Good launch point for Salisbury, Stonehenge and Winchester. On the first night we had a very tasty meal in the hotel restaurant and then walked the 20 mins to the friendly village pub.

My boyfriend and I stayed here overnight on the way to Stonehenge. We were in the Heathcote Room. This room is more suited for couples, and if it's just the two of you, you'll find it very comfy and spacious, as is the bathroom. The owner was very friendly, and we had a really nice dinner and breakfast in the...
