Sad to hear having stayed there 7-8 times over the years. Was hoping it would work out, but appears it is closed for good as a resort. Guess will have to find other places to stay on Orient Beach. Sad about Alamanda.

The Alamanda is about in the middle of the beach next to the shopping and restaurants. Esmeralda is more north at a quieter section of the beach.

If you walk down the beach to the end there is a clothing optional portion. Topless is acceptable at Alamanda beach though.
