I was a bit apprehensive about this site, mainly because of the name, it conjured images of a Brits abroad type place that doesn't usually appeal to me. Well what we found couldn't have been further from that image, the atmosphere was really nice here. The pitches are terraced, upper pitches have nice views out to the sea. It's the...

I agree with everything else that other folks have said: near the beach, clean and well-taken care of, fair price, good restaurant. It's also worth noting that I was driving a vehicle that was a little bigger than I am normally accustomed to. Driving in a couple of tight spaces, I misjudged and had not one, not two, but three...

Camping site 5 min walking to the beach. People are very friendly and kind. Good food choices at the restaurant. Beautiful beaches with the picturesque rocky landscape of Costa Brava. Very pleasant to relax. The beaches are relatively small, but very nice. Early in the morning there's less people. The water is warm and clear. Beautiful and relaxing!

Ok campsite in a great location and town. Pitches a bit on the small size for my liking - our tent almost filled the whole space leaving little room to sit/cook! Calella is a lovely resort and well worth a visit. We found Spain to be a little cheaper than France and the Spanish were very friendly and accommodating!

Absolutely wonderful camping! Moby dick was quiet, clean and well organised. The staff were extremely helpful and pointed us to the local walks and points of interest. The cafe was great with wifi and reasonable priced drinks and food. The location was wonderful and perfect for accessing the local area. Brilliant! Also, there is no card machine for payment which...

It was a last minute decision to come up from Barcelona to the Costa Brava, and after some searching, it looked like us leaving it late and it being the end of July would make our one night stay a bit expensive. But, then I found Moby Dick and the prices were so much cheaper than other campsites in the...

we have just arrived home after a 7 night stay at Moby Dick. The weather became kinder as the week went on but still Moby Dick came up trumps. A real hidden gem, quiet, beautiful views and although being rustic/cosy it is always very clean. Angela is a real asset to anyone staying with her knowledge of local things and...
