We stayed for 2 nights. It was simple and rustic. It is literally out in the middle of nowhere Botswana. That is so neat that you can get that far away from it all. The food was delicious. Drinks were delicious. The bed was very comfortable, but I think the bed was two twin beds put together so there was...

This is a very nice rustic camp in a beautiful spot in the Kwara conservancy. Very good guiding by guys with a passion for nature. During our stay we and other guests had some spectacular wildlife sightings! In camp you are very well taken care of.

As the southern African dry season prolongs into October game seem to end up in a narrow corridor bordering the very dry lands to the east and the Okavango. Kwara is located perfectly to allow visitors to experience the interactions between the animals in this somewhat compressed area. Over the course of five days we saw 1) lions attacking hyenas,...

I find it hard to recognise the camp we stayed in from the glowing reviews on this site. On the plus side, the location of the camp is excellent, overlooking a large lagoon and with animals, including Elephants, impala, hippos and baboons in the camp. The hide gives a wonderful view over the surroundings and during quiet siesta time was...

We spent two nights at Kwara, my first visit in about 12 years. It had been my favourite memory of many safari experiences in Africa, and that's now been confirmed. We won't wait so long to go again. The camp is comfortable and well-run, which helps enormously, but it's the quality of the guides and trackers which really makes Kwara...

Kwara was our third camp and absolutely our favorite. We were there in August and stayed for 4 nights. The staff are a strong blend of professional and friendly. The tent was up on stilts and had all the toiletries that we needed. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. The food was terrific, particularly the homemade bread. A light breakfast by...

Our room was located on the south side and had the best view of anything that passes by.It was quiet and we could relax well when ever we felt like. The room was perfectly made, the bedding was so beautiful and romantic. The service we got from all the people at Kwara was honestly good and top quality. A well organised group...

We spent four nights in early June at Kwara Camp. This was the middle of our Africa trip, so we appreciated the extra time to relax. It also served as an excellent intro to safaris in Botswana, after a couple of days in Chobe. Game was abundant, and contrary to some reviews, focus of game drives was not limited to...

I would have rated this camp a 4 had someone not stolen approx. US$500 from our tent safe. Unfortunately we only discovered the theft 2 days after leaving Kwara and Botswana. Despite repeated approaches to our travel agent (ATR) and the camp nothing came of it after more than 2 months of correspondence. This is the only place I have...

We loved our experience at Kwara Camp. It gave us a true "out in the bush" experience. The wildlife wasn't as plentiful as Serengeti, but the guides knew where to find them, and it wasn't anywhere near as crowded. We enjoyed the alternate boat rides as well. The pace was comfortable - with a morning drive followed by a break...
