It is the only hotel on the island, and you have to stay overnight if you want to avoid the crowds coming from nearby Panglao. The hotel is not bad at all, the food was good and the service impeccable. Recommended!

My family and I didn't stay at the resort however we used the facilities and rooms for the day. The rooms are very simple but nice and offer a place to shower and sleep after a hard days swimming, snorkelling and diving. The restaurant is reasonable with a good offering of Filipino dishes and excellent service. I would stay at...

I think this place is more about the location than the amenities, the room was clean and comfortable with air con, but there was no hot water and no TV in the room. A TV was available in the restaurant area. The food was okay not amazing but edible. I not sure there are many tropical islands surrounded by top...

The "Balicasag Island Dive Resort" and the Balicasag Island are one of the last undiscovered diamonds in the Philippines (I was in Philippines for years). The island itself has a diameter of about 2-300 meters nice covered with great beaches and fine shell beaches. In the center is a small village with Philippine islanders, all of them very friendly. The...

This is one of the more difficult reviews, because the place is wonderful, yet a lot could be much better. First the good: The snorkeling is very, very good, and among the best we have tried. Colorful hard and soft corals in good condition, an ambundance of fish. Even turtles. The cottages are great and in good condition. Well located....

We were on a 2 week boat trip around the Visayas and decided on this spot after watching the Pacquiao fight in Panglao. We weren't very sure of the place but gave it a go anyway. We were not disappointed as this turned out to be a great snorkeling spot and a perfect stop before our trip to Oslob next...

The Snorkelling Balacisag is the second best place I have snorkelled in the Philippines after Chindonan in Coron Palawan –see see separate review. The coral was better than other Philipeans places but not as good as Chindonan , but there were lots of turtles and pretty good regular fish abundance.; and the guide I had (Kevin ) pointed out several...

Balicasag is a small round Island in front of Panglao Island. It is the only resort on the Island. Clear to say if you need TV, Bed room with high speed internet access, hot water showers...do not go there. But if you allow yourself to enjoy this quiet, remote beautiful place to switch off for a couple days you will...
