This is our second time at The Manse and it's as brilliant as we remembered.Everything about this B&B is perfect, starting with the beautiful, large, high-ceiling rooms. With giant Windows looking across the village below. Every detail has been thought through, from the lovely wallpaper to the linens and the extremely comfortable beds. The digital shower is the best we've ever...

Judy and Jonathan have created a B&B the way it should be...beautiful to stay in, attention to detail with high quality finishes and furnishings, subtle but lovely attention to guests, nothing too much trouble and a beautiful breakfast. Perfect for a couple of Aussie couples after a hard days walking the coast to coast...just perfect.

The Manse B&B is excellent with a welcoming host (and cat!) and superbly located just off the main square of Reeth. I stayed in a twin room which had a lovely panorama of the hills. The breakfast was tasty with a wide choice. The single large dining table encourages good conversation. Great way to visit Reeth. Only negative was an interruption...

We had room 2 upstairs. Lovely view overlooking Reeth. Great digital shower and heated towel rail for wet walking gear. Nice extra touches (chocs) and the best breakfast so far on C2C. The three pubs in Reeth were all recommended by our fellow travellers. Charming hosts. Wish we were here longer !

The Manse is an oasis. We'd spent a wet day walking from Keld and whilst there's no shortage of accommodation in Reeth, The Manse stands out as one of the best places we've stayed during our Coast to Coast walk. The formula is simple but highly effective - a deceptively large and attractive country house, a big bedroom well decorated,...

What a brilliant stay here. The Manse has lovely large rooms, peace and quiet and cake and fresh milk on arrival. Breakfast had a great selection, porridge excellent and yoghurt and fruit salad very good, served on lovely Portmerion chinaware. Nice central location just off the green in Reeth.

Probably the best B&B that my dad and I stayed in. A fabulous room. High ceilings big windows. Beautiful. Fantastic shower (relevant if you've been walking for 6 hours!). Wonderful breakfast including fresh porridge with cinnamon and honey. Strongly recommended for coast to coast or a romantic getaway.

I've definitely got shower envy after visiting The Manse as part of our C2C. Room was great, overlooking Reeth with large windows and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb and my son enjoyed meeting Alfie the dog. What more could you ask for? This was the most stylish place we stayed in on the walk.

My wife and 2 daughters stayed for one night on the coast to coast walk. Reeth is a truly beautiful village and The Manse is a truly wonderful place to stay. The house is located just off the village green. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfast was the best we have had to date on the walk....

Stayed one night on the Coast to Coast walk in this lovely house in the beautiful town of Reeth. Jonathan was very welcoming. Lovely, large bright, airy bedroom, furnished beautifully. Shower and en suite were spotless and equipped with the best shower of our 18 night journey. Breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. A really enjoyable and...
