The reception was very warm and the tea and cake most welcome. The room was comfortable with small ensuite, adequate power points for charging gadgets, tea / coffee facilities, good wifi (but no phone reception). The breakfast room come lounge is very comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Large room with a long bed! Modern bathroom ensuite with tub available down the hall. Very friendly host who dried our few wet clothes in her dryer. A charming town center with little shops to wander just 5 minutes away. Neat and clean.

Just a quick thanks to Rebecca for her welcome into Hackney House. The room was perfect and the breakfast was amazing. The room was spotless and the bed and pilllows very comfortable. I slept well. Very quiet during my stay which was very restful. Breakfast was cooked beautifully. Would stay here again.

Really enjoyed staying at Rebecca's B&B - a warm and welcoming host, clean and comfortable room, terrific breakfast - nothing was too much trouble - highly recommended especially for coast to coast walkers

Reeth is a stunning stop on the C-C and this B&B was a perfect night stop. A cup of tea and a delicious slice of cake on arrival. Small twin room was spotlessly clean with a great view of the neighbouring donkeys! The selection of delicious fresh fruits. was a good addition to the breakfast. Strongly recommend this B&B.

I stayed here one night as part of my recent coast to coast walk and rated this B&B 8/10. A really nice, sizable room with a pleasant outlook and lovely host. Wifi worked well, everything clean tidy and recommended.

There is a lot to recommend about this delightful B&B on the Coast To Coast but first you have to walk here...and from Reeth although you'll read that this is supposed to be an easier day...it is far from it. There is still a lot of scrambling over styles and walking on stony tracks, albeit the climbs are modest(ish). So...

Stayed one night at the Hackney House, after it being recommended by a friend. Rebecca, the owner is fabulous... so friendly. We had her smallest room as this was the only vacant room in the B&B. The room was very stylishly decorated and furnished, and the bed and bedding extremely comfortable. Our room did not have an ensuite but we...
