Many thanks....again (we stay as often as we can make it!) to Robert and Sheila. We LOVE coming and this time we brought our rehomed Patterdale Terrier, Gemmie, who was made as welcome as we always are...she had a lovely soft pad to lie on after her long day, a nice bowl, a towel and ...best of all from Gemmie's...

Thank you so much for your excellent review. We love to see our guests return to stay with us and Gemmie was adorable; we hardly knew she was there and I'm pleased she enjoyed her 'doggie treats'! Cambridge House is indeed ideally located for events in the village as we're just a short walk from the centre yet you can...

What a place to stay at. I was welcomed by the owner and then his wife offered my tea and cake. The cake was home made and wonderful. My bedroom was clean and had every extra you could imagine. It seems they have won some awards for the B&B and for the breakfast. I can understand why they won an...

Just over half way across the Coast to Coast this standard of comfort and hospitality is a real delight. Sheila and Robert aim high and maintain a superb level of comfort. One of the best Victoria Sponges I have tasted (and I have tested a few!). Lovely to sit back in the conservatory and watch and listen to the song...

Thank you for your review of your overnight stay with us while on your Coast to Coast holiday. We really appreciate you taking time to let us know that you enjoyed your stay, particularly the Victoria Sponge cake; a cup of revitalising tea and a piece of home made cake after a days walking usually goes down very well with...
