We actually ran into Terry, the owner, at the Immigration Office in Manado. We mentioned we were headed for Bunaken in a day or two and had a place to stay in mind; However, we couldn't find a place for that night in Manado while waiting for our Visa extension. Lucky for us he has a connection at a local...

Diving in Bunaken is really good, with fantastic wall diving. Corals are really alive there. Some equipment old, but a lot of new also. We had problems finding wetsuit small enough, but after some searching we got perfect ones. Staff is really friendly and helpful, with the australian owner always sitting in the restaurant, evening time discussing with the guests....

We recently spent three nights at the Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze Resort in a standard bungalow, which was completely adequate. The bungalow was spacious with a comfortable bed, mosquito net, fan, and attached bathroom. There was a lovely private porch out front shared by four bungalows, but most people tended to sit in the open air dining area to read,...

I spent a week at Seabreeze and frankly was disappointed in many aspects. The friendly Australian manager encouraged me to book in advance, leading me to believe that it would be difficult to find accommodation in August at the last minute. I was on my own and paid 30 euro per day for a very simple room (not an individual...

I arrived in Bunaken after 48h of plane, transfers, check-in etc. and found the best welcoming ever! The owner Terry is fantastic and when I had a small problem with my boat transfer because of the weather he was the most helpful and resourceful! The dives are amazing, I also saw dozens of dolphins and turtles. The sea-view bungalows have...

A good and well established resort and worth the visit. The cottages were well maintained and the views across the sea to North Sulawesi are great. I only snorkelled (whilst my friends dived) and the visibility was great and there were loads of amazing fish and corals to see. The diving was apparently great because of the long steep underwater...

Cannot recommend this place enough. Terry, the owner, responded extremely quickly to my email enquiries and after careful research, we decided Sea Breeze was the only place for us to stay during our time on Bunaken. We were picked up as planned from the airport and transferred to Manado where we got a taxi boat to the island (all organised...

I was very disappointed when arriving to Buanken. It is a beautful island but it was filled w trash, and I mean literally the locals would just throw their garbage to the ocean, so you would see that in all the dive sites you went to. The irony is that the charge you 15 dlls for diving to clean up...

Have been on several trips around Asia and think I have a quite good knowledge about what to expect from a hotel in this region. Seabreeze did not meet my expectations though. I’m used to budget accommodation, but I don’t think Seabreezes price matches its standard. The dining area is ok, but the rest of the property is not well...

I stayed for 7 nights at Sea breeze in late September/early October. Sea Breeze is not for those seeking luxury accommodation with air con and cocktails but is a very friendly place with comfortable rooms and great buffet food 3 times a day - all included. I hadnt dived for 2 years and found some of the sites quite challenging...

“I would suggest choosing a room near by the restaurant area. Views are the same like others and they are still very calm. After 6:00 PM (night) this is the socializing area and is easy to move from there back to your room. I will also pay for a beachfront room as views are truly amazing.”
